I’ve been with you since u sold your home and made the move to Idaho. I remember the day Jeremy turned in his police equipment how emotional you both were. It’s been an adventure that has shown me the level of determination you each have. Your family is your strength and you all feed from within that source… your ability to adapt to any unique circumstance leaves me in awe. You are no doubt the strongest family I have ever seen. I’ve grown to love each of you dearly. You’re my brunch companions that I look forward to watching every Saturday. My time with you is easily my favorite day of the week!! Watching each of you grow in every way especially the children restores my faith in humanity with the value of a family unit. It’s unfortunately a dying characteristic that I don’t see enough. In my heart you’re my family that lives in Idaho…I couldn’t love you anymore if we were blood relatives❤️!! When my children were growing up I had I called it a utility room or a pantry room similar to yours. I had all my canning on both sides on the shelves and I had a freezer out there but I also had a sewing machine because I did sewing for the kids. When I move from Oregon to Arizona and had a garage sale at my house someone came and bought all of my canned goods and full freezer and I got close to 1200 for both of them.. that was in 1980 so quite a while back. But since I moved to the Southwest I haven't done as much canning because my children are raised I now have grandchildren and great-grandchildren and next week will turn 80 so I don't do all of the canning I used to. You've done a remarkable job on that room you should be very proud of what you do. May God bless and keep you and make his face to shine upon you and give you peace and success in 2024.

You both should feel great at building this mostly yourself its taken time but the outcome is fabulous. The house and now the garage self-supporting little house above is really looking great and with the big workshop and new stable/barn it's really a great place to live and bring up your wonderful family where many memories can be made . Looking forward to seeing the little nest being finished above the garage . And it's set in beautiful countryside surrounded by mountains. Very enjoyable video thank you so much for the tour .

Your next crib needs to be a real timber frame crib. It could be a cozy crib linking to yoiur current crib by wide hallway. After all your family will keep growing. Then after that link another sweet crib to the timber crib. Get it! Get after it.

my dad was a carpenter/kitchen wizard - a lot of homes in southern Saskatchewsan had his handiwork showcased. He built my mom the exact same concept - pull out drawers and shelves for pots and pans - over 50 years ago. Mom was also very short, so part of her kitchen counter top was dropped for her baking area. Stand up dividers for cookie sheets come in handy too! We also had an office area as part of the kitchen/dining room - a large desk with multiple drawers on each side of the sitting area. A customized kitchen is a real blessing
