This is pretty minor, not gonna lie. Now imagine him doing exactly as Doug asked AND walking away, trophy held high, as the confetti was raining down, people were applauding, camera panning around catching a glimpse of him going toward the exit and asking someone to open the door because he had to hold the trophy up because some guy told him to... That would've been a true disaster. And probably the funniest thing ever.

Oh God what an event to remember. I watched this with my brother and we were like "Why is he holding it for so long?"
