I am noticing that many ladies don't know how to use a pressing comb. You run the teeth thru, and you use the BACK of the comb.

Black male here. I have been relaxing my own hair for 3 years and even though I've gotten really good at it, it's just time consumming and expensive. I *had* shoulder length hair but the breakage reduced it to chin length, so while looking at an alternate method to keep my hair out of my face I stumbled onto your video. I have an InStyler comb, which uses a brush and a roller. I will copy your technique, because i have the same type of hair as you. Some black guys have boyish faces and can pull off this look without looking zesty. I hope my shit comes out looking half as good as yours, because right now I look like Harry Potter in Year 4 in this Carolina humidity 😂

Very strange question, but do you know the length of your hair? I'm watching this because I want to know how I'll look after a silk press. This is the first time I'm growing out my hair, and I hope to use you as a reference.

No worries love! So in this video my hair length was almost 8 inches on the dot so 7 inches and some change. I was neck length forsure

@@MoyoSisters yes love! I would go for it. To me it’s just about taking the necessary steps to ensure that the hair is silky straight. So a real good blow dry is key, I just achieved an even straighter blow dry this time around for my second silk press ♥️♥️♥️
