I did the identical 1630 honing for my main, but I am holding out for a honing nerf before Echidna and then hone my alts up. The only downside is lack of Theomine transcendence level 1 on those alts, but G3 Thaeomine is a jail fest for pugs and not worth the time until SG/AGS does something about it.

I like this i think this of all the points has the most justification. Good chance On a nerf coming I do disagree on where tbh.... should be the 1540 range next for silver but who knows.... Also grats on 1630 the wei. Also agree that's why I'm saying it even more so, better to get the ilvl in this end game and the rest will follow after nerfs

ah i forgot about the solo raids potential.. but i mean... XD i don't think those korean company would give you the ability of rice farming gold as solo without the team griefing variable.. they nerf old gold legion raid income like clown exactly to push people inside more endgame difficulty stuff. usualy they want you to feel the fatigue and be slow down from preventing you to spam raid in a super efficient way like a machine so Imho those solo raid would give little if none zero gold.

am i missing something or would it not be even cheaper to hone from 1620 to 1630 and then do advanced honing 1+2 to 1650? or does that not work?

No that's basically the convo.... the 10 normal I lvl should be cheaper than the 1640 advanced threshold.... so I think you got it

i think the best method is still the 1580 barebone alt that you made back in the day in a video with the real estate house analogy. basicaly push as many char u can to 1580 from the old 1540 spot. so you get more red stones and leapstone daily to funnel your main. and that's all for me. now here is a thing, if the nerf/help they do to elixir make a real difference and iz easy to get set 40 i may push those alt to 1620 slowly. but imha say that i don't want to touch akkan hard, ivory tower, and thaemine six time x week.... that sound to much burn out from potential jail pug. the income does not improve that much compared to older raid, so is better to get x12 1580 char than doing more high tier homework in your scuffed x6 main alt xD but anyway.. as always since this d0gsht game cannot be balanced and has loopholes. the real solution is stil the cheat code. creating alt rosters and going orizzontal this way.. with more steam account rather than characters inside your roster in a single acc xD. or the classic rmt ofc (more risky nowadays for the negative gold) but anyway.. game is still broken and broken remain forever in a nutshell

Some of this I agree with, but multiple rosters or steam accounts are apples to oranges.... this is 1 roster and in my opinion far more challenging and impressive. Also a lot of that is not relavant to what the ideal parking spot is. 1580 is still good but this is not regarding my "alts", this is regarding my main 6 and how they should progress.. I see my roster like this 1 main, 5 main alts, 6 real alts ... 12 total focused chars at all times ... this doesent mean pushing all 12 it means their in the plans

You've fallen behind from your break or your method if your main isn't 1640 already. Most people who are doing HM G4 are 1635-1640s. Difference of honing alts vs main I guess.

Nah, Theamine HM with 1633,33ivl 25 weap andies is just a whale territory same as Voldis HM with 1620 was on release. When it comes to roster managment there is just no value whatsoever in forcing it now, while you could have invested it into expanding roster. 1620 is perfect parking spot for "mains" to attack Echidna from.

@MrZathril not whales I think 50 plus hrs a wk with a roster if 1580s could do it easily...... but the second part is literally what I'm saying.... for overall roster development and gold per gains its just a better play and always will be... the Evolved method is tried and true at this point no contesting it, what can be contested is where that spot is, but I genuinly don't know how anyone could say anything but 1620 for the next yr

i mean we are going to hone the mains no matter what but that 1620 on alts is a pipe dream of efficiency aint no way that alt is ever going to pay off if you gonna make it efficient to play at a 1620 lvl thats 40set + some transcendence +lvl9 gems and if you gonna start pushing alts to 1630 thats +lvl10s and full transcendence and you aren't getting enough for it

@@evolvedmentality229 surely the character will generate 7m+ gold in a few months i'm interested in the math now 1600-1620 if only you buy orehas is 669k gold going from lvl 7s to lvl 9s is 1m gold Elixir 40set is 200-400k gold transcendence lvl3 on all pieces is around 100k gold the jump in generation from 1600-1620 1 tier of chaos dungeons going from sonavel to Frog replacing Brel with Thaemine on which you are buying boxes replacing normal Voldis with HM on which you are buying g4 boxes your gold generation does not budge in the process you are gaining 4 leapstones extra per day i'm interested how long that takes to offset 2million gold spent on that character

One thing your story doesn't tell is that 1610/1620 open massive gold sinks, that may add another "couple" thousand of gold on top raw honing cost. It's hard to not invest into them to avoid gatekeeping. I don't count upgrading gems to couple of 9s cause some would be farmed naturally and the gold is still there.

no one is forcing you to do legendary elixirs and transcendence. Echidna NM is piss easy for farming gold. Just need 35 set from purples which is cheap.

You're missing the point. He specifically said to avoid gatekeeping, and people will 100% gatekeep echidna on elixirs/transcend. Echidna is also balanced with transcendence in mind. And tbh if you're 1620 with 35 set from purples you're just griefing at this point, unless it's a fresh 1620.
