I love the standard of your work! It’s just good solid work that will stand the test of time, covers current needs and future needs, i.e. the cooker supply and attic radial! Doesn’t cost the customer that much more either! This should always be the standard! Sometimes it feels like a race to the bottom especially with pricing and getting out priced by the cheapest cowboy who does a job that works but just lacks thought and pride! Love the content!

I work exactly as you do, us chancers have to stick together. I dont do cheap work in competition with others and I choose my clients carefully. I dont rewire if occupied either, they need to go away and move furniture out. I am concerned about your choice of a 20 amp radial in the kitchen, potentially running a dishwasher, kettle, toaster, AIR FRYER, simultaneously??? keep up the good work young man!

Nice work & excellent advice Lawrence. If you ask the guys from Glasgow rewires they'd say that would have been completed in 2 days. Those guys are super quick and tgey seem to have a team of 6. I guess when things are done methodically and you have done enough rewires it you pick up the pace. For me and the lads that would be a 5-6 day job. Always enjoy your content. ✌

Also.. spray the edges of the socketz with some silicone spray or wax polish when you go to fit them, plaster slides off easier

We had a rewire a few years ago, I did the majority of the work other than the cu Did the smokes too and when the extension happened it was easy enough to extend the smoke wiring and run new stuff to the extension We still feel 5 double sockets per room wasn't enough and even with 13 stickers in the kitchen we were still wanting more 🤦 The only thing we've not done, but have a feed for, is the light in the bathroom vanity And yes, the boiler supply is separate Got a 20 way cu because we didn't want to be left wanting in the future, but some of the breakers, the fancy posh ones, certainly weren't cheap 😮

Spot on pal 👍🏼 On your cert do you list install method as conduit for the oval conduit? I also like to provide plenty of dedicated circuits which suits selectivity but does cause problems sometimes with diversity totals in excess of main fuse. (Crazy logic)
