It's really interesting to see how over a couple hours they figure out much more efficient ways of communicating what he needs to do. Like how they go from saying directions like left or right to using analogue clock directions. Which allows for more directions and eliminates any confusion about direction that I think some of the chat had at the start. I think this was just as much a challenge to the people in the chat giving him directions as it was for him. Not to downplay the ability to memorise this game well enough to keep track of where you are mentally.

Great community :) My vote for weird "now you should" challenge, is to do this, but instead get another speedrunner to play with you, and you each only get to only watch the other's screen, and have to help eachother get through the game, instead of using chat. I'm curious whether the addition of voice chat, being able to talk with someone else who plays the game competitively, and the fact you'd both at least have the general level on screen at the same time to remind you of what things look like, could help you get a much faster time.
