I have the opposite problem. I have 50+ incomplete projects but no full complete games. It’s been so fun though learning and trying new things.

i have the same problem, if you can try and get some good friends that can do the opposite of what you do (ex: you script, they model/build) will give you alot of motivation and keep you wanting to continue the project :)

@@snowisaqt what doesn’t help too is I see new things to try out but doesn’t match for the type of game I’m working on so start a new sandbox experiment for proof of concept testing that starts to form into a new game then another shiny object goes by and the pattern repeats itself in a vicious cycle. Then I’m left with a bunch of tech demos but still not a full game :)

Yeah that’s exactly the problem I deal with. But I atctually don’t mind my unfinished projects because everytime I look back on them I think about the work and effort put into them.

@@wmx99 yeah, being a solo dev is reaaallly hard because you get burnt out really easily, try to take commisions and maybe hire a developer, and don't feel shamed to use free models or buy icon/lighting/modelling kits!

Thank you so much for this video. I as well am an aspiring game dev on Roblox. I usually make themed obbys, I’m not really a scripter, but I recently started making concepts for a motorcycle riding game that I took inspiration from an NES game called Excitebike. I think the key to success to Roblox game development is to create games you would’ve loved as a kid and what the demographic of that specific market would want. Although I’m not as successful as most Roblox devs since I started out a year ago and I’m still learning how to make fun games, I have a feeling I will make something that will change the platform and how people will view Roblox.

I couldn't agree more, people from other countries doubt they are going to be successful because they aren't within the United States. And if they actually became a successful Roblox Developer, they still have to buy tickets to the United States or even have to register for a U.S. Passport.

Hi Myzta! The first time I came across your channel was when I was looking for 3d clothing tutorial. From there I watched your other videos. First of all I wanna say I’m proud of how far you’ve come. You’ve inspired me to learn scripting and 3d modeling on blender. I bought some courses on blendermarket and Udemy. Idky whenever it comes to texturing or using nodes I get overwhelmed and try to do something else. How do I overcome that? Also, some days I feel like I can’t achieve anything, but everyday I force myself to watch a video from the online course. So it feels like I did something. Tho it’s nothing. Also, do you know how to make laces? I tried to make one but it doesn’t look the same when I export it to Roblox studio. I have no clue how to bake alpha on blender. Couldn’t find any good video on it. If you don’t mind, can you teach me how to do it? Thanks Myzta! 😊
