26:19 A very shocking quote, a Christian scholar basically admitting that the Muslim understanding of Jesus pbuh is the same as the earliest understanding of Jewish Christians, the first believers in Jesus pbuh. This is truly mind blowing, what's more mind blowing to me is that this scholar who said this is still a Trinitarian Christian 😭 like what the hell is going on.

All religions are man made. 3/4 of the stories Quran are edited copies from Biblical myths and legends, which were made up by writers of the books that formed the Bible, or copied from ancient Babylonian, Greek, Canaanite and Egyptian myths. The similarities do not support the common divine origin, because these stories contradict science and proven history through archeology and comparative parallel human history. Biblical and Quranic morality is also focused on supremacy, exclusion, land annexation in the name of the divine, enslavement of women as sex slave, acceptance of slavery and belief in superstition, non existent beings, magic and the power of prayers. Also a childish belief in eternal heaven and hell with various degrees of bodily pleasures or sadistic torture for ever and ever and ever.. ..

..quite frankly if christianity doesnt stand up to scrutiny, Islam does even less... if you apply the same critique to Islam it falls like a pack of cards... for example you have Daniel Brubaker's book 'Corrections in early quranic manuscripts' which shows there were quite a few versions of the quran...
@juannifer324 ай бұрын
I am Muslim and I read the Bible for myself as well to put together pieces Bible Scholars say and to compare what the Qur'an says. I realize in Acts Paul actually speaks for all the disciples mentioned, but we don't have writings of Peter or James giving their own accounts of what happened. We only have the account of Paul saying what Peter said and what Peter did. Christians love Paul because they see him as a sinner turned good. Which is not a problem for his individual growth. But Paul was capturing disciples and was responsible for the kìlĺing off of the disciples who walked and talked with Jesus who would know what Jesus truly said or did. Then Paul says Jesus came to him and now he believes. The problem is Paul becomes the authority over the disciples he didn't get the chance to capture to be ķìĺĺed? Why would God chose someone who isn't trustworthy but requires us to trust Paul and believe everything he says about God? When hours ago he was responsible for the disciples death who knew what Jesus really preached? How can we know that Paul really was reformed? There were no disciples to say Jesus didn't really say that because Paul captured the disciples and they were ķiĺĺed. Paul claims James and Peter embraced him but we don't have any writings of Peter or James to back up Paul's claims. When you read letters of Paul you will see that Paul seems to get rid of everything God says was an everlasting covenant like circumcision, and also saying you can eat anything it's no longer unclean. But not being circumcised gets you cut off from God. It makes me wonder if Paul was trying to get the followers of Jesus cut off from God since he already had been capturing followers of Jesus to be kìlĺed. And when I read acts I see Peter wasn't even aware of what information Paul was bringing to him and the people but then we see a verse where Peter would either get a vision or a dream that confirms what Paul told him to prove to us Paul was really guided by Jesus. But Paul was telling Jews not to circumcise their children neither to walk after the customs. He told them to forsake Moses. And then there are some evidence that Paul wanted to gain followers so he got rid of circumcision and other things that made the Gentiles hesitant to embrace Christianity. Paul called the people to focus only on Jesus as the son and claimed Jesus death and resurrection was the only way to salvation. And that's faith we are now under Grace. The Gentiles already had similar beliefs of a son of God so they had no problem accepting that but they didn't like circumcision and other laws the Jews were bound to and had to obey and Paul compromised those laws of God to gain them. He openly admits he becomes whatever he has to become to gain them to Jesus he felt like as long as he is bringing people to Christ there can't be anything wrong with that. Paul was arrogant to the point he says don't believe anyone who preaches anything different from him. Some Christians look at this verse as their reason to reject the Qur'an. But I look at it as Paul being afraid of disciples of Jesus he did not get to kìlĺ speaking out against what he preached and that was his way to get the people not to listen to them if they did. Especially since when Paul came he made himself the authority. Peter seemed to be under Paul not the other way around. Most people didn't catch this. If Peter was a disciple who walked and talked with Jesus how is Paul who only had a vision of Jesus now the authority over Peter? And it's still the same today and I believe Paul's letters influenced the Gospel according to John the most. Sorry for the long comment.

@@muhammedsaleem3258 If you were aware of your ignorance and stupidity, you would be crying instead of laughing. If you want to see FAKE, just go through a good Study Bible and check the notes on all the changed texts. I will give you a couple hints for starters: 1. Check the part about Hagar being kicked out of Abraham's house along with her son Ishmael. What was Ishmael's age and why was it changed? Who would want to make it seem like Isaac was the one ready for sacrifice and blessed by God? 2. Check out the part about God "resting on the 7th day of creation". Can God get tired and need to "refresh"? 3. "God is the Savior ALONE, there is NO ONE WITH HIM, NO ONE BESIDES HIM". "God is NOT A MAN, so that He would lie" "God NEVER CHANGES" (i.e. if He was NOT a man, then He could NEVER BECOME A MAN. "God is ETERNAL, EVER-LIVING" which also means He can NEVER DIE. There is more, but the above mentioned should be enough to point an honest person in the right direction.

Assalamualaikum brother Paul. What a knowledgeable presentation. Because of Ramadhan and other commitments I just managed to sit down and have a proper listen. Masha Allah as a Muslim I learned a lot. Just a little observation if I may point out...the term early Jewish Christians is a bit misleading I find....many could understand this to mean ISA as (Jesus) founded Christianity. What would be more appropriate would be to call the followers of ISA as as just that...the followers of ISA as (Jesus). That would be in line with the writings of Scholars such as the one you highlighted...and also in line with what Islam called the followers of ISA as {Jesus) as ' Hawariyun' (the helpers of Allah) as stated in the Quran. Great work as always brother Paul. May Allah keep us all in his mercy. Ameen.

This reminded me of the explanation of verse 5:21 in the Qur'an - surah Al-Ma'idah: - "O my people! Enter the holy land which God has prescribed for you and commanded you to enter; and do not turn back (from faith to your previous state), for then you will turn about as losers (in both this world and the Hereafter)." ... This verse refers to Palestine, where the Prophet Abraham emigrated and settled, and which was the homeland of the Prophets Isaac and Jacob, upon them and all other Prophets be peace. At that time, the Divine trust - the representation and promotion of God's Religion, which has always been called “Islam” - rested on the shoulders of the Children of Israel. It is for this reason that God Almighty prescribed that land for them and commanded them to enter it and make the primordial Religion of Islam prevalent there. So this prescription is not for the Children of Israel as a race, nor as the followers of the Jewish religion or Judaism. It is for those who represent Islam, the complete surrender to God, and shoulder its promotion and exaltation at all times... To my mind, this explains why the teachings of Jesus may have been so readily accepted by the Jewish people of the time.

*Deuteronomy 18:18 is about Joshua* 18 I will set up a prophet for them from among their brothers like you, *and I will put My words into his mouth, and he will speak to them all that I command him.* 19 And it will be, *that whoever does not hearken to My words that he speaks in My name, I will exact [it] of him.* *Now see what God tells Joshua:* *Joshua 3:7* And the Lord said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so *I will be* with thee. *Joshua 1* 5 No man shall stand up before you all the days of your life; *as I was with Moses, so shall I be with you.* I will not weaken My grasp on you nor will I abandon you. *See the people's reply:* 17 *Just as we obeyed Moses in everything, so shall we obey you.* Only that the Lord your God be with you as He was with Moses.
