Very interesting story . . . I think it goes to show that getting into conservatories really depends on what kind of potential a teacher sees in a student. Juilliard is more pretigious than all of the places that did not take you as a student. Different teachers see different things and it really is a chemistry kind of thing. So at least one of the Juilliard faculty members thought you had great potential. This is the thing I think students forget -- I know I did when I was a student. Teachers look at potential; a student is not a finished product. I think it is important to audition at diferent places too because it is always about the teacher in the final analysis. Great video.
