How I Became A Solo Pirate In Star Citizen

So I have once again lost the ability to receive PvP Bounty Hunting contracts. They've just disappeared again and nothing seems to bring them back so I decided to seek out other emergent gameplay scenarios in Star Citizen and become a solo pirate. Got to love the wonky physics of Star Citizen. In deep space if a ship is in motion but not accelerating or decelerating (as yours wasn’t, it was just steady cruise), you should come out and move at the same speed, not insta down to zero. I hope they eventually fix that some day because it’s beyond dumb that this happens.

Very enjoyable experience and video style. Loved the part where you learned cruise controll the hard way. I assume everyone HAS to go trough such an experience at one time. Mine was going to get a drink, just to come back to my ship impacting the planet :D

Try to unequip all gear, undersuite too. Check your pending moves and try to equip civilian gear. There is a bugged undersuite, which allows you to wear armor and civilian gear.🎉

Nope. I tried getting mission shared, tried grinding rep with Northrock in Mt doing the 35k HRT mission at Ghost Hollow and nothing. The last time this happened, only them doing a patch fixed it so I'm hoping it fixes itself next patch.

Heh yeah sorry poor choice of words on my part I think. As a solo, I guess I could have parked at Grim, got my Cutty and done the transfer there? Don't know. It just seemed to make sense to backspace and come back. I think it's cheap and immersion breaking but what choice did I have? EVA from Miner's Lament to Grim?

Got to say, I clicked on your vid due to the genuine nature of the thumbnail-no clickbait, real screenshot, no AI, artistic layering & emphasis, etc. I was not disappointed! The immersion level, cheeky self-deprecation humor and lack of awareness of everyone made this a riot. Thank you for taking the time to do this video, as well as being one of the very small percentage of folks to be an ACTUAL pirate of opportunity, rather than a murder hobo, griefer or bored person wanting an adrenaline rush and control fix. o7 Gonna go out on a limb here and say your style has the potential to cross over well with Voidude of Voidy vids, and you should show him this, as there is a serious chance he'd work with you in the future if you are so inclined. XD Edit: I don't even do PvP bounty hunting contracts as they are usually a waste of time from running/armistice camping or a sweaty annihilator, BUT-if you haven't tried having someone share PvP contracts with you to try and fix it, I'd be willing to give it a shot. Not that I want the piracy to stop or anything lol. Let me know!

Hey Corgi, really appreciate the comment - I wouldn't usually pirate as I say so this was more of an experiment in gameplay more than anything else. This was my first time trying anything like this outside of the usual 'good guy' morality of full loot PvP; with bounty hunting the game is telling you to do it whereas this is just me having a crack at it. It means a lot for you to comment though so thank you, I would definitely appreciate trying to fix my mobi issue, my ingame is OneZeroBlack, and yeah I watch Voidy a lot, probably where most of the inspiration for this came from actually haha for I too am a Maze and railgun ammo addict. But yeah hit me up if you can find me, I'll join Voidys discord under this username too

See this I why I do my RMC runs a carrack. I respawn in 30 seconds equip guns and armour on and go kill them lol. and if I want to be really safe I hover the ship above the ground, So the ramp cant be jumped on to. the buy and backspace. Wake up on the ship and get to the pilots seat even faster than going back to the ship the proper way lol

With one loading screen he waited on a a fully explorable planet, boarded a spaceship with an interior, one of 130+ flyable in-game, used one of 28 FPS weapons to kill another player, fly stolen ship to the orbit of a moon and transfer cargo to his ship to sell for profit. In the first clip with the C2, you can see the wreckage of my cutty black destroyed. That was literally my first trip to Rappel where I took out some NPCs so yes, technically I did have an s38 pistol but not on me, and certainly not enough ammo to kill anyone. What smells fishy about this? Do you think I set it up? Setting up not pirating someone... Seems reasonable
