I'd say after Diamond, players' skill sets aren't changing much, just who's more consistence and has more playtime. It's probably going to be like that until high Challenger, that's when you will see some people who are very consistent and mechanically excel at the game. The League ranking system tries to divide people into a slope, but in reality, there is still a big rift between the player skill ratings. The ranks just make it look less obvious.

I think the reason it’s been easier for you to climb is because you never had much roaming power on Xerath - Teemo has a lot more impact on the game, even if he’s behind, as long as you know what you’re doing. And you’re ZWAG! So it’s a no-brainer why you’re blazing up the ranks 🤌🏾

Yeah that's what ranked does sometimes, it's broken af, he's still grandmaster even if they're putting him in low elo lobbies (literally just for that game too?) I remember when I was trying to climb outta bronze last season once I was like B1 50LP I played against gold, plat, and emerald players for no reason
