I'm happy to hear that Ania encouraged you to pursue a career as an English teacher. It's often said that behind every successful man there is a woman, and I didn't realize this applied to your case as well!

Great story, Daniel. You are very "lucky" in many ways.. I think teaching is your calling, for sure. Ania is obviously a very smart girl and a great support. I would also like to teach English in Poland, but unfortunately I only know a few words and phrases in Polish despite having Polish citizenship (mom's side). Not being able to speak Polish is very embarrassing for me. I plan to move to Poland next year to be with my girlfriend, so i have some time to learn some basics. I love Poland so much. Good luck with everything, thanks for sharing. Dziękuję bardzo.

Najlepsza książka do angielskiej gramatyki to „English grammar in use” - niebieska, chyba z wydawnictwa Oxford. Tam jest WSZYSTKO. Polecam!

Chyba musisz być językoznawcą, bo użycie poprawnego cudzysłowu to ogromna rzadkość.

What were the sites you posted your ads on initially? I'm going to do this soon. Thanks for your content. Also how did you learn Polish, from your parents?

Do you need a degree? I heard in Poland some schools accept TEFL certification

Also how do you feel about the safety of Poland with the Ukraine war situation? My dad is worried about me going there because of this.

Russ from "Love My Poland" is 100% American and runs a language school in Poland. There is a big demand for good English teachers here, so I don't think you'll have any trouble getting a work visa.
