You are strong to survive such a dreadful ordeal. I totally can relate to this as a Kenyan born now living in UK (last 30 years) children in Kenya endure such hardship and abuse that everyone you meet has a real sad story to tell. I am so glad my family moved to UK when they did because I dreaded the daily ritual caning we got at school for doing nothing. Also the nasty extended families who were forever full jealousy and contempt because their children were not doing as well as us!
@Bonitaymorena3 жыл бұрын
Why are extended family so mean? I legit have heard other Kenyans and Ugandans say the same thing about the relatives that they had to live with? Like my aunts and uncles even if they would have beens stressed taking care of be they were never abusive and they never even hit me they just yelled when they wanted to discipline me and I have respect for them so I would cry and apologize if I did something wrong. But it seems so rough for children in some countries. I know in Caribbean it can be rough as well depending on your socio-economic background but I don't get the feeling that our relatives hate us. But then again every family is different. But still like this sounds so traumatic I'm glad he survived and hopefully doesn't hav PTSD.

Also, please keep the stories coming. it's very relatable and just refreshing content on youtube. Although people from developing countries have gone through a lot, i believe our stories and our memories are the best. I don't mean to belittle your or anyones hard experiences. It can be very traumatising memories. But only when you have experienced misery you can actually feel the sweetness of the little good that comes out of it. I'm originally from the middle east and my best memories are when I was struggling the most cause I feel a sense of gratitude and I remember the amazing feeling of the little moments of good through the bad times. like conversation and laughs with people that are so simple. or the feeling of having a warm meal.. or sleeping cramped up 10 people in a little room. You just feel extra grateful over the simplest things that people take for granted. God always got us.

Adri .....I thank God for always looking out for you.....even when they abused you torture you and if they could catch you...they probably would have killed you ....Some of us ask where is God when all this is happening?.....And God is saying to us ...(I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU )...even when we are sleeping God is still working....even when we don't feel it God is still working ,he never stop, he never stop working. But I thank God for the people he sent to help you while you were homeless and the dog's to guard you until you were able to see the light to your path. Those family members seems a bit jealous full of rage hatred anger. And because you where brought up with love and respect and manners,they wanted crucified you.....Your story remind me of Joseph the shepherd boy and his brother's .....Tratrarius. And look at you today achieving what you would like to accomplish in life for you and your lovely family. God have made you better man today. Thank you Jesus! Don't stop 🙏🏽 .

I felt that 'god dammit' after saying your English is bad and you're in London. LOL ps: you're not bad at making stories. Feel free to do more if you want :)

Why do you put down your fellow AFR ? His Swahili is ok, & he is surviving quite well with it in UK. I'm sure can speak Italian too. He has like 5 languages, what of you?

This story brings me to tears 😭 😭 It's always so inspiring to hear someone coming up from their past struggles. I'm so happy you were able to escape such horrible relatives. I'm from Kenya, nairobi and my relatives are LITERALLY THE WORST 🙄 (I can't compare mine to yours tho) nevertheless keep winning 👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾💯❤️

Wow... I'm in tears! It seems like this is a common experience for the one pure person in the family. It's almost like an initiation or atonement process. The spiritual side of homelessness is a soul differentiation process, separating you as an individual from the evil in your bloodline. It's like a process that the pure ones have to go through to access their birthrights... Anyone who ends up homeless has CORRUPTION in the family that is a fact across the board. The person who becomes homeless, God sets them apart and it winds up being a BLESSING! Adri, your gentle nature with your wife and children is admirable after having gone through such dark times and such harsh abuse. The result of abuse for most people is they themselves become evil. But some of us take dark experiences and turn them into light, wealth, and well-being. You have done that so gracefully! God bless you and your beautiful queens! You are a KING in the Kingdom of God!
