Hello, my first time watching your videos. With all due respect the landing page for this offer does not fill me with much confidence. I'll pass for now... Accessed via mobile BTW.

I am a POOR web developer. Thank you for sharing your story! You are truly inspiring me to work hard and become a blockchain developer.

Awesome man, keep working hard, you will get there!

Oh, that’s a great point! I completely agree. When a tech niche is HOT and there aren’t many developers in it yet, it’s easier for juniors to break in. I need to act quickly and get in before it’s too late. This is such great advice-thank you!

Great video! Thank you for sharing your story. When you take on a freelance job, what kind of things do you look out for? Did this change with time and seniority?
@EatTheBlocksАй бұрын
Great question. A full answer could take a full video but in a nutshell i look for 1) the project in itself, does it interests me and does it fit with my long term goal career 2) the founding team, do they look competent to lead the project 3) the team of devs, do they look smart, will i learn something with them or not 4) their funding - do they have money to pay for the project or not With time and seniority i place more importance on the team. Before i only care about the money. But a good team is also very important. If you want to get better, you need to surround yourself with smart, disciplined and ambitious people

This is very interesting, I have watched your videos in the past. I became interested in blockchain too and studied Solidity a bit. Where do you find your freelance gigs. Fiver or via LinkedIn?

Hey , Julien I really enjoyed your video! I’m curious - where do you find gigs as a freelancer? Do you use specific platforms, or do you have a network where you connect with clients? Would love to hear your thoughts on this!

Do I need prior coding experience to learn solidity?

Yes. You'll suffer a lot understanding basic things in it. Start with something more straightforward like Python.

no. investing, yes (long-term hodling). But it's not my main focus. My main focus is my business of Blockchain freelancer, and educator. And I recommend Blockchain developers also to be mainly focused on their career. Not the crypto market.

a millionaire selling courses on utube for couple dozen people, yea sure. it gets worse so u say how blockchain and solidity made u a milliomaire by working for people😂 like how is that different from any other dev ? exept u got lucky in a not so crowded sector. or maybe u ruggd couple projects who knows but all in all solidity is no diffeeent than being a game developer if u work for someone. and create a ponziy scheme for them
@EatTheBlocksАй бұрын
"a millionaire... working for people" => this sentence doesn't make any sense. "I got lucky" => right, I got lucky by working Monday to Sunday until 4am everyday, after a decade of trying other things and failing wow... so "lucky". "how is that different from any other dev" => you know a lot of dev who built a KZbin channel of 165k subs and the business that goes with it dude? "or maybe u ruggd couple projects" => dude talking out of his ass, making wild assumptions because he has absolutely nothing to say. As if a hacker would bother to make a KZbin channel (and would be stupid enough to have that kind of exposure). What a stupid comment. "no diffeeent than being a game developer" => you couldn't be more wrong. I specifically mentioned how game devs are very good technically but don't make any money. Very stupid comment. You just come here with a lot of prejudice against Blockchain dev, KZbinrs, and vent your anger. 0 value.
