I simply cannot explain my pride and joy when I heard Steven at 42:20 say the Eastern cape. Representation absolutely matters, representation at this level snuffs out all the air out of your excuses, true and valid as they may be. The seat at the extraordinary table is occupied by the same guy essentially but to know that one of your own is just as capable to confidently hold their own there, lands very differently! Steven in as far as the South African market of this podcast is concerned, you have outdone yourself with this one mate. You introduced us to one of our own😭

What Black Coffee (Nathi) is saying resonates with so many black boys or men rather that took the time to develop themselves and got the success they weren't even anticipating to get. It becomes an internal struggle of one's identity. Superman (Clark Kent), Batman (Bruce Wayne), etc... Unfortunately nothing is free in this life, everything comes at a cost.
