Insurance companies make money, when you are healthy, don't get sick, and die without being bed-ridden for a long time. Pharmaceutical companies make money, when you treat a symptom of a cause and thus prolonging life without curing the cause. Hospitals make money, when they can justify expensive procedures. Doctors are basically sales outlets for procedures and symptom management prescription drugs. I would not want to be advised by a doctor. I would want to be advised by a person who has access to the data, that determines causal relationships within the system (body). Insurance companies have the right incentive landscape given their business model to be your best friend in all things healthspan related.

In America at least 50% of people are narcissistics. The level of apathy and anomosity and ignorance and stupidity is pathetic and the mist disburing thing in this country and probably the world

🧬🧬🧬 great information! In this world with so many conflicting messages, it’s really hard to know what is actually good for you and what bio markers need to be measured. So I really felt that I learnt a lot about how you can supplement and treat what you’re missing and was the first I heard of the methylation DNA test. Will be looking to get tested.

I have to disagree with some of Robert's statements. Someone I love dearly surprised me, from the beyond the corner of my eyes, and I reacted. This reaction brought up trauma from a man that was once doing work in my house, and he exposed himself to me. I managed to get him out of the house and he didn't touch me, thank God💜🙌. So what my Son saw, was me horrified that he came back and was in my house. I grabbed a glass candy dish that was out for that time of year...my Son and I are working through it. I did scare him, but it was not about him. Because whomever would have done it is who would have gotten that reaction from me. I explained to my Son, without telling him too much. And even though he doesn't get it...he was empathetic. Yet still, it affected Our relationship->he's a grown man living on his own(not financially), so I think it's worth mentioning. ❤️🔥

This particular conversation resonated with me in a way that I believe will change my life for the better. The Diary of a CEO has become my go to listen. The quality and breadth of information shared and the thoughtful way questions are posed makes it unmissable for me. I recommend it to so many people. Thank you.

Both young men and young women have their issues, but it feels like no one is talking about the issues youn men face, and if they do, they get mocked or labelled as mysogynists.

The first Jimmy Carr interview here was really good. This one reminded me of David Brent reading all the philosophical quotes under the table :) Sounds like he’s striving and put himself under a lot of pressure - wants to come across as prophet like. Nice bloke though

Males, expectations have been ridiculous, damaging, ice-cold for generations of each of these precious human beings. It HURT so much, observing how society has damaged reality. I'm a daughter of a single father, two brothers, and two sons as a single mother. I felt honoured when a rare group asked me to join them as the first female amongst abused men/ex-partners of ......... Furthermore, I am grateful for my daughters-in-law insight, sensitivity, love and respect for my sons, they take 50/50 responsibility in every aspect of their lives together. I observed how treacherous the woman who gave birth to me was towards not only myself, but my father and younger brother. I'm sixty-five today, and it's time to put these decades into print.

Love Joko!! and loved the interview, But the only part that I didn't like where I think he dropped the ball at was when he was asked to humanize himself to people(me) who credit him with godlike status. :) And instead of showing any weaknesses that he might have or any shame that he sometimes succumbs to He instead inverted The question to show instead how he is an awesome leader.. Doesn't yell at people, doesn't come across as authoritative or domineering, listens more than he talks..etc He went on:) Dang, I was really hoping that he could show us mere mortals that he is actually human. A man who always doesn't do the right thing and does not walk on water... So maybe I helped him with a weakness. Every man, no matter how honorable, struggles with pride and self-righteousness..

At the twenty minute mark, when he says "the easiest way to get a read on the true prevalence of mental health issues is if you asked... " and I thought a teacher! I just knew he'd say that, because I have been a teacher for over twenty five years and I see it, I talk to my family and friends about how much of it I notice among my students! It's absolutely true! It's so obvious and pressing! We need to face it, deal with it!

This is genuinely one of the best interviews I've ever watched/listened to. Jimmy is so eloquent and there are some fantastic nuggets of wisdom in here. Steven does well to just sit back and listen as Jimmy goes into detail. Too many interviewers would have jumped in too often. Really enjoyable and quite poignant in places.

How is it possible this interview with 3.5 million views has only 79k likes?? That is under 2.3 %? Invaluable truthful information.. Can only assume several million narcissus people are viewing and feel exposed!! Amazing interview.

3- Most philosophers write books. Many books are written and religion and governments and systems keep abusing and taking less responsibility for taking care of society, and you keep putting pressure on people. I am the only one who gets no finances out of my writing and people have habits to make others known more and this continues. Publishers know AI will take their place. They are piling up money for themselves. MpH
