I really do not like the cutting straight across. Why do stylist not cut in sections any more?

The cutting straight across is just a base cut or foundation cut. It’s a guide. I actually go inside the hair and shape the hair and also cut the hair that doesn’t reach to the bottom. Even tho it’s not always shown I always do a thorough trim through out the hair. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for commenting because I see people ask this all the time :)
