My golden rule is this: If you're thinking too much you're not moving enough. I've found the reason you're thinking too much is because you don't have enough experience to connect the dots. Moving allows more experiences and creates plans that lead to plans...etc.

My notes (definitely still watch the video) 1. Negative visualization - imagine where you're going if you stayed the same. She was motivated by the fear of not changing more than of wanting to change. Using the fear to propel you into the future you want. 2. Build frustration tolerance - Many successful people have a high frustration tolerance. Accept the negative emotions. Label them. The more you step into them the more they dissapate. 3. Prove your brain wrong - Question your thoughts, they are not facts nor are they you. Ask your thoughts these questions - Is it true? Is it absolutely true? How does this thought make me feel? Is this a productive thought? What would it be like if I didn't believe this thought? Build a case against the thought of why it's not true and use it to lead yourself into more productive thoughts that are true.

What happens if you get a point in life where u end up creating a reality loop that makes it impossible to hit rock bottom?
@avatar1867
@avatar1867 Жыл бұрын
@@Holywalk1 You realize it, and adjust if you want too. If you want out of the reality loop that's simple enlightenment. Very nifty, most people dont know enlightenment is like an emotion. It comes, but it can also go. Like a memory you remember how it tastes so it effects you. If you know the trick you could do it daily, or weekly, or whenever. Though as direct cultivation is usually considered the secret squirrel club, mindfulness of the defined qualities of enlightenment is the common practice. This is like telling whos never felt fear about the qualities of fear and asking them to understand. Like asking someone whos no memory of the past to remember something. lol. Similar in the secret squarrel club is direct cultivation of the light. Visualization is like pointing a flash light at the ceiling while looking out your window into the dark. Lucid dreaming is like trying to look behind you at a light that is in front of you. XP. Adjust reality loop, have more than one reality loop, leave reality loop. Up to you.

“Successful people have a high frustration tolerance” that is a major one!! I think I have slowly realized that over time without knowing that I realized it or that that’s what I was developing as I worked on dealing with perceived failures. It reminds me of the Rocky quote “it’s not about how hard you can hit, it’s how hard you can GET hit and keep on moving. That’s how winning is done” I love that quote and it reminds me that with every hit I take, I become more resilient. NOT more of a failure. And that much closer to success. GREAT video 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

The most valuable thing in life is friends and family. I was at the highest level of the drug trade in my country. Sure you guys wont respect that but 100 milly aint no thing. We can do 5. Take it from me, nothing more valuable than friends and family. You can only buy stuff with money, that's it that's all. I like that video where the caption says "they told me not to join the cartel, guess what i did" and he's showing all these luxury cars and mansions and stuff. That stuff is all just joke stuff, it aint worth nothing.

So true - using negative visualisation and tolerating frustrating situations/ people has been the key to reaching my financial and career goals. That being said, I think there is only so long you can grind it out before you need to take a break to smell the roses - otherwise you risk having your entire identity/life being tied up with achieving goals rather than what you truly enjoy. Balance is everything and I believe there are seasons in life. Great video.

I have never had any interest in her or Alex’s content. I just can’t relate. They both seem like a different species than what I am. But this….. wow. This I can relate to. I am blown away. This is the single most inspiring and useful video I’ve ever seen from a Hormozi. Thank you. Massive respect.

The other side, in sobriety and consistency is a different world. Meditation, gym, day after day. This life, while boring, is better than not doing shit and drinking. 2 years sober.

I found this video by accident and loved it. Leila is talking about techniques that work for her and are specific enough that anyone can try them. While our brains work differently, I totally agree with her about the importance of being curious about our own, specific thoughts and how they serve us. Or don't.

VERY GOOD VIDEO! I am 4 months clean and sober. When I GOT sober this time, I got hit with all the crazy negative thoughts I always have in Past attempts. I started tuning into stoicism and attended a few AA meetings which made me realize if you BOW DOWN to those thoughts you drown yourself. I felt an importance to FEEL that pain just as I would when starting a new Gym routine. I might be starting over in life but NOW I’ve dropped the “Victim” mindset. Things dont change for the better OVERNIGHT but small victories are coming forth. The points you made in your video are pure Truth! God bless🙏🏻

I guess everyone has their own issue. This advice is not for everyone, especially for those who are extremely perfectionists, workaholics, or very ambitious which leads them to unhealthy. But this still motivates me enough to keep working harder on myself than working on what we do. ❤️❤️❤️ I think balance is key, be the attractive person that money will come to you, not you that trying hard to chase them, they more likely will run away

Once again you slayed this! You say what everyone is thinking and feeling but too ashamed to say cause they think they are the only ones like this. You normalize that everyone can have these thoughts and feelings and how to break through them! You literally have become like my new therapist, mentor, life coach! Lol… Thanks for all your dedication and hard work that you bring to the world! ♥️

Thank you for that !!!! Because it was really quite informative, helpful and realistic. As a 74 year old, (no one ever really envisions themselves as a senior, It just sneaks up on you while you are busy at life. ) I am a retired chiropractor and somewhat accomplished artist and the matriarch of the family. But lately I find myself depressed and at a loss for motivation. I guess I'll just 'accept it' and come to terms with this phase of my life. Who knows, maybe I'll start painting again.

The comfort zone can lead to complacency and a lack of motivation to achieve our goals. But it's never too late to break free from that cycle and make real progress in our lives. By stepping out of our comfort zones, we open ourselves up to new opportunities, new experiences, and new ways of thinking. We challenge ourselves to grow and push beyond our limits, and we become better versions of ourselves in the process.
