no. I'm a wantaferarri. I don't want to waste 5 years of my life stressing tf out. if i did that, i'd be too old and stressed out for it to actually be worth it.. I want to be going cross country to car meets TOMORROW. entrepreneurship is for psycho and sociopath's. you're literally making money by putting on a clown suit and putting on a show for some one to give you money and then spending hours every day figuring out how to make your clown suit more clowny. f that. just give me the money. I worked and played hard in my 20's came out with 0 bucks. it's w.e. I wouldn't change it if it meant I had to manage 20 different companies inside a company. i'm going to figure out how to get rich af without that much effort, putting on clown makeup or coding ( idk how to code :/ ).

Top 3 beginner business problems: 1. You don't have something people want 2. You're selling to the wrong people 3. People don't understand the way you are conveying what you have ------- Instead of asking: "Which market do I target?", ask "Which customer do I know best?"

I'm 22 and have been running my woodworking business for 3 years, I started from scratch at 19 not knowing a single thing about business or woodworking with no experience with tools or machinery, I've put probably 20k into tools, machinery rent and most importantly, lessons I have learned through mistakes. both the quantity and value of the knowledge presented in this video is mind-blowing. I had multiple a-ha moments that have consolidated ideas or shifted the way I think about my business. thank you so very much Leila. you and Alex have provided so much value to me and i look forward to meeting you guys down the road.

Loved the simple frameworks and clarifying common myths. I think most people know what to do already (we all have an idea of what our next step should be, even if we can't see 10 steps ahead), but the problem is all the chatter and noise we get from our environment like social media, friends, family, etc, makes us go against our gut instinct and act against common sense.

Despite being on this platform since 2015, this is the first time that I'll be commenting on a KZbin video, but it's because I wanted to say thank you so much for making this video. I cannot put into words how much this has helped and moved me because you have said the exact words that I never knew I needed to hear, but that I don't often see many creators talk about. I'm a 20 year old university student and it never hit me, until after watching this video, that I've been stalling on starting my business because I was waiting for the time that I'll feel "ready enough". Thank you so much for the value that you and Alex bring into the world. Honestly love and appreciate the things you guys put out.💯

I'm at the $300,000 mark. It's nice to have the income, but it sucks working by yourself. It's lonely and you have no social life. You're constantly solving some problem coming out of the perpetual left field. I can start hiring and buy automated equipment, but it's so hard to take the plunge and spend all the money you've been saving for years.
@G-MIP
@G-MIP 10 ай бұрын
Perhaps you could find someone else nearby who has that same equipment and operate it during hours their business is down for a cut if new profits-and bring in 1099 super stars to grow the other areas for a % of growth they generate. …Of course, I have no idea what your business is, but I’ve been where you are and there are solutions you haven’t thought of- the key is often taking “free days” with no discussion of work, no work activities, just going fishing or something …as during those times your brain formulates genius creative strategies. More free days equals more genius. Work *on* your business more and less in it.

Leila, breaking down the specific problems of $1-$1M, distractions, skill development, discouragement (mindset & Skillset) required and showing there IS a result and just focus in these specific things. NOTHING ELSE, and blocking out influences telling you to do this, when it has very little impact on the end goal now which is consistent CASHFLOW. That Is golden for me and likely others. Drilling down even more specifically into how or the best place to go to aquire, sales and marketing skills (knowledge, then calls/ads etc) would be helpful. I DID see the selling book on influence which I will get 100%. Thanks, your such an amazing direct and powerful role model. THX. Keep it up, grateful and learning......XO

This was by FAR! the best video for new business owners that I have EVER come across. Watch it, study it, and implement it.

This would be 2 years of lectures in business school. So articulate and concise 👊 Q. Is it better to look for a niche with a smaller market or try to out compete and over deliver in a bigger more crowded market?

Its better to spin the market to create a new service or solve a problem for your customers have within the marketplace. Then you can compete in the bigger market but still be kinda in a blue ocean. Its like creating your own market. Let the customers be your guide. KISS.

The question is, what market have you already been involved in? Where you have worked and what positions you've held have given you some type of insight on “this could be better.” What is that for you?

fantastic video, i am not in the high income bracket yet but this video was absolute gold for small businesses like mine, i felt like you were talking to me. By the way you look amazing, and the video set up (you on the sofa, relaxed, but talking your talk, like the pro you are) fantastic. 💜💜💫💫 thank you for sharing your journey with us, it makes a massive difference 💫💫💜💜

I'm looking for the 2 thumbs up button! This is amazing content! I come from an entrepreneurial and private equity background and she nails it. There are many courses that will charge you 30k to attend and don't teach you nearly what she does condensed in what.. 32 minutes. Amazing! Thank you, Leila

Spectacular video Leila, you and Alex have definitely raised the bar on what’s value on KZbin nowadays!! Would love to hear more about the 0-1M stage. Maybe as Alex says “we need to be reminded more than we need to be taught” but I would definitely appreciate the reminders. Whether psychological or tactical

I love how she calls out the stupid “hire slow fire fast” mantra. As someone coming from the tech/corporate world, I always thought of it as a thinly veiled excuse to fit whatever vague situation HMs have. I also love that she is normalizing being risk averse. I think that there is too much emphasis on “go big or go home”. Often in reality, it seems like “swing big, miss once, go home”. Looking forward to more content!
