My name is Kody and I am a video game collector and full time reseller documenting some of my great finds.
New videos drop illustrating the ease to which collecting and reselling can be done. Through Facebook marketplace, thrift stores, garage sales, estate sales, and retail arbitrage, video game collecting and selling can be a blast and most definitely profitable!

So not sure if i should say this here but apparently there is a product for a pretty cheap price that does the same job as disc repair i guess its like a manuel way of doing the disc repair yet to trial it but as soon as i get $13 spare dollars ... uncertain if its available in the US.

My favorite oled switch is the one I got which is the platoon 3 version. It’s sweet looking. Nice pickups, I still got my silent hill 2 ps2 game CIB at a goodwill over a decade ago for 5 bucks when they were a thrift store and not a retail eBay shop.

Don’t know if anyone has mentioned yet, but the JFJ easy pro for $199 is a great entry level resurfaced as long as you use Meguires Ultimeate Compound and Polish instead of what they give you. Especially worth it if you thrift a lot or flip to grow your collection like you are doing.

Do not buy a j pro disk resurfacer. If you really want to boost your sales and invest in yourself get the eco pro. Or your best bet is to just go to a game store and get them resurfaced if you don’t wanna shell out $1300 for the good resurfacer

It is but the quality of the discs after using this is close to what a 7 or 8 grand $ machine can do. Annihilated discs looking close to perfect.

Unfortunately the top scratches on the Futurama probably mean damaged data, the game data tends to be stores under the decal on the top of the discs, hopefully they don't return it

Be careful selling that Futurama since it has label side/disc art damage. You might end up with a return if you don’t specify it in the listing.

The JFJ easy pro is a solid budget resurfacer. It comes in at about $150-$200 though. I'd say I am usually able to repair like 95% percent of the discs I've run through it

JFJ is what I would recommend too if you’re on a budget but my discs always end up coming out with micro scratches and swirling. I wish it would be able to give a like new finish to the discs.

A random question. If you don’t have a resurfacer. Where do you go to resurface your games? A local game store? My local gamestore doesn’t do it, but I can mail my discs in to a webshop to resurface my games

Check any media or hobby stores in your area, they might have one. Where I live there's a few stores that do it for between 2 and 5 dollars per disc.

True, but I don't recommend it for most people because it's easy to screw up discs with it. Spend a bit more and get a smart pro or eco pro, it's well worth it.

Get some 2000 grit sandpaper, turtle wax and a polish drill bit for a car. About 15 mins per disk, done.

​@@k0dyw1thaK I started doing my own resurfacing a few weeks ago and was super nervous. I started with junk disks and quickly built up confidence. Even as a novice I have saved several discs and have yet to ruin a game.
