How I built a 16000m tall base in Subnautica

I built the tallest base ever built in Subnautica! It was huge challenge, and took a lot of learning to be able to achieve it while retaining my sanity. I had to trial and error a lot of different building techniques in order to build this thing. I even got to do a little physics, math, and coding along the way! I love taking things apart and learning how they work, and that includes video games!

This was so good!, a youtuber I used to watch used to play Subnautica and made a tower of multipurpose rooms and called it Tower Of Power. This deserves more views and you deserve more subs, keep up the good work!

So I'm so interested... do you retain inertia when you are teleported back to origin? Could you concievably teleport in an infinite loop?

I just checked the code, and it looks like there's a "rigidBody.velocity = Vector3.zero;" when the OutOfBoundsWarp class' "Warp" function. Although with BepInEx I bet you could override that function and make it work however you want! I bet you could totally make it like Portal and have "speedy thing go in, speedy thing come out".

Yes! There's a function called "RebuildGeometry" that reeeaallly slows things down. To get my maze generator mod to finish within a reasonable timeframe I had to tell it to skip this function until the very end!
