There is also an in-built wifi interface on the Pi in addition to the external adapter that I installed. From the in-built wifi, I have connected to my phone’s personal hotspot so that the Pi will be able to access the Internet. I actually explained it in the video, but I had to trim off some parts since the video is getting too long.

Impressive. I'm just curious, if you want a portable hacking device, why would you come back to the office to see the results of your attack on your home wifi, why wouldn't you use remote the cracking rig to send you the results for convenience? What if the password contains a mix of capital and lowercase letters, numbers, special characters, and spaces?

I used to do this with my Pwnagotchi, however in most EU country is nearby impossible to crack a wifi network trought Dictionary or Bruteforce attack because the standard wifi password are setted to be at least 18 alphanumeric random characters (uppers and lowers cases) and numbers, so even with 5 GPUs it takes a lot of years to crack the handshake.

i have the same adapter tplink... when i use cmd lsusb it shows the tplink is connected but when i type iwconfig it doesn't display the my adapter(wlan0)..what is the issue here..

Late reply but it’s probably the fact that the NIC(Network Interface Card) needs a driver in order to work. Find out what chipset your card uses and download it’s driver

he used "rockyou" and i feel some sus that, handshake is captured yesterday 8:21 and password he cracked is today 6:55. almost 24 hours. and he kept mentioning that its all automated.

Only certain versions of the pi have a wifi card thats able to go into monitor mode, even then its not the best for it. Better to get a wifi card like an ALFA wifi card.
