In this video we go through my build process of Biscuit's Bastion from the #HorseRanch Expansion pack. In the end we gonna renovate the house without any restrictions I had while building it for the pack. It got way more lush and a lovely lived-in interior for a family with lots of room for expansion.

Hope this explains the building process of this ranch a bit better. I think sometimes it is underrated how strict the rules for building for a pack are. I myself didn't know it's that harsh. I want to thank you all for your lovely comments about this lot and I'm so so happy you guys like it.

As someone who lives in this climate, the lack of green and plants is very accurate 🥲 I have to have glass cabinets for my house plants because there's no moisture 😅 This is my favorite build in the pack, I can't to replace it with this updated version with way more clutter. Great job, sehr Schön!

Well all of the collectibles in one big row of tables is just ugly and quite frankly unproductive structuring and organisation. 😂 i know it’s very German. Maybe this is why it irks me so much

(...) ... (i can not not mention it... cause the cellar looks so nice but.... but outside it has drywalls....there wouldn't be drywalls in the ground like that (and they are ugly... but also not realistic) (but mainly ugly) But we know that's a me problem. Your renovation looks gorgeous.

Its such a beautiful build! Certainly one of the builds that stood out the most for me when watching the trailers. I love your renovation and wine cellar! And the process you had to go through was fascinating to hear. Once I buy the game (as soon as I get paid this month 😅), Im going to download your updated version to replace your original ranch. Until, of course, I go ahead and bulldoze it all down again anyway to build my own creation in its place 😂 And I couldnt agree with you more - the columns and spandrels are definitely one of the big factors driving me to buy this pack asap. Those and the wood burner stove/fire place 😄

Oh please feel free to bulldoze/renovate everything. I’m very happy you like this house. The spandrels and columns are chef’s kiss for sure! Wouldn’t have thought myself that I would like the objects from this Wild West pack. But I do! The stove is so cute. With the little teapot on it… 😍😍😍

@Simproved Yeah, the moment I saw the BB in this pack, I knew I had to have it! Will fit so many fantasy/rustic builds 😍 Plus, as a horsey girl, the horses are a bonus! Though, I can't remember when last I managed to play the sims for more than 30 minutes before getting bored and going back to building again 😅 Still, horses - yay 🤪 😄

It's funny how it started out with so many bookshelves, then when I went to play it, I couldn't find one. There's probably still one in the kids room? I don't remember. but I added one somewhere downstairs. I also got rid off all but one of the radios. I also added a small basement for nectar. I duplicated the existing stairs and placed the duplicate under the existing stairs. This house is really beautiful.

Beautiful house! Moved my sims into this one this week though I did edit it to make into 3 bedroom. Love the large windows and over looking 2nd floor into first. Cool to see this being made.

There is an in game achievement if your sims wet themselves with 5 or more toilets on the lot. …don’t ask how I found this out 😂 My sims houses also always have as many bathrooms as I can cram in. Its funny that they asked you to remove a bathroom. It’s so interesting that the basic structure of your house was there from the beginning and was very recognizable as the final build - a lot of time when I see videos from people who built for the packs the first version has some substantial structural changes.

Oh right. I hit this achievement fairly often. The structure was seemingly ok, the only thing I needed to add, was another bathroom on the second level and a "more prominent entry door", but I had to get rid of the second bathroom downstairs. So there were some changes for sure, but not totally unreasonable ones. Same goes for the other builders.
