Dear Sir, We accidentally bumped into your Vlog. Your Vlogs are really very interesting and has very exciting contents. Please keep it up. We have been in US for more than 3 decades and working in Pharmaceutical industry in the area of drug development (research) and clinical trials involving humans. We came to Pharmaceutical industry from academics. We would like to place some comments. Please ignore them and request to pardon us in advance. We are not expecting you to reply to any of our comments. We have been seeing many Vlogs from Kannadigas but unfortunately all of them are from IT people but no doubt there is a strong reason for that. 1. You did mention that your parents advised you to travel abroad and gain experience and also understand how things work at different parts of the world. This is wonderful suggestion and there is absolutely no doubt about it. 2. You did mention that in US there is NO pollution, corruption but we feel that we need to accept your statements with a bucket of salt. When US R&D develops all kinds of materials and supply to the entire world how can we accept that there is no pollution. There are too many examples to show how US is polluting this beautiful planet earth but we are not interested to mention them here. US is also good at creating pollution in developing countries by outsourcing all kinds of manufacturing jobs. Anybody in the world will be surprised if they hear that there is no corruption in US. We generally do not see very obvious corruption in daily life because common public in US are in the lowest rungs of food chain where corruption is not there because first of all there is no money in this level. But corruption is present in the lowest order of food chain in countries like India and because of this very reason they are called as developing countries. 3. In US there is a general statement - NO FREE LUNCH IN AMERICA. You mentioned about family time and holidays on Saturday and Sunday etc. This applies only to certain job categories and especially true in IT industry. IT industry is flourishing all over the world including US because it is an industry without any solid investment in certain important infrastructures and raw materials. Forget about US, in India itself almost all IT companies are doing so well and so many became billionaires such as founders of Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant and there is a long list. Take a look at the IT buildings in India and how glamorous they look. Have you seen any Indian university buildings looking so beautiful like IT companies. 4. Why in India we failed to develop many important home grown industries especially in the areas of social media and ecommerce?. Why we are depending on companies such as Meta (Face book), Amazon and Walmart (ecommerce companies)?. In China both social media and ecommerce are controlled by home grown industries. Meta has no presence in China including messaging application "WhatsApp". ALIBABA is the biggest ecommerce company in China and its revenue is more than Amazon. TikTok (Chinese social media app) is making Meta to run for its life. We, Indians are known only as COOLIES and back office operators. Both public and Government are not interested in developing innovative job creating technological companies in India. It is a kind of tragedy but that is how it is. US has only 350 million people but they have maximum number of fortune 500 companies. Japan has only 150 million people but they do produce world class research and technologies. Nowadays South Korea is doing so well with only 40 million people. Majority of Desis who are coming to US for jobs and to study are mainly linked to only one particular area i.e. IT and majority of H1B visa seekers belong to IT. There is no fun in this. As we mentioned earlier making money in IT is not a big deal and it is a kind of scam. The former CEO of Oracle owns a private Island near Hawaii and we will never hear that a Nobel laurate owns a private island. Tell us what is the difference between Meta and LinkedIn when it comes to social media because contents in both of them are garbage with full of lies and misinformation. Very recently Microsoft paid 65 billion dollars to buy Video games making company because those video games are used by 3 billion people on this planet. The notorious - Ramalinga Raju founder of Satyam Computer Services and served as its chairman and CEO from 1987 until 2009, built Satyam company with 50000 employees without any knowledge about IT. This type of things can happen only in IT industry. I work for Japanese Pharmaceutical company and in this company you hardly see Japanese and all workers belong to either white Americans, Indians (Desis) or Chinese. Both Desis and Chinese are nothing but COOLIES here. 5. You mentioned about VISA problem etc. US is the world's number one country in making use of HUMANS for all kind of labor and they have been doing this for more than 3 centuries. US has allowed more 12 million people to live without any kind of documentation illegally. These 12 million people are exploited everyday. This population do not have health care, no pension, no driving license, no social security number and their employers collect all kinds of taxes including social security tax and moreover, threaten them every day saying that they can be deported any time. Humans were brought all the way from Africa to work in US and they were not given citizenship for a very long time. Native Americans were kept in isolation in areas designated as "reserved lands". Asians are allowed to immigrate from 1960 onwards. H1B was created in 1990 to bring in cheap labor from outside. You live in the state of Texas and whole world knows what is happening in Texas and it does need any further explanation. There are tons of people in Texas who do not believe in theory of evaluation and also believe that earth is flat. They also believe that Joe Biden stole the election results. 6. We do not know whether you like to read books or not but anyhow we suggest one. You are free to ignore.Book:21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari In this book, he gives the reason why people from all over world want to immigrate to handful countries such as US, UK, Canada, Australia, France and Germany.

Namaskara Durgesha avare, Thank you for taking time to share your perspective here. Few things I would like to mention here is, my statements were made from the point what an individual goes through on a daily basis -- in US though corruption occurs at higher level, I never had to bribe anyone at DL office, Tax office, SSN office, etc. Regarding pollution as well, you made a very general statement and I was referring to more like when you go out to park, office, evening walk, etc. We know how much dust an smoke pollution exits in India -- my dad doesn't venture out because he is asthmatic. He loved his time here in US. My curiosity is since you've lived in US for 3 decades, what is that strong hold keeping you here? I am still trying to figure out where to stay US or India.. You are mentioning lot of exploitation done here in US, but it's happening everywhere in the world.

@@DileepKarpur Dear Sir, We have answered your questions in two parts.
@mysoredurgesha97122 жыл бұрын
@@DileepKarpur Dear Sir, We have answered your questions as another replay with points from 1 to 3. 4. We did want to answer your questions such as where do we live in US? and why we are still hanging on to the land of UNCLE SAM?.However, our answer is brief and to the point.We work in Pharmaceutical industry therefore we live in a state which supports it. If you go through the information which we have provided below, will explain why we are still hanging on to UNCLE SAM land. However, we have decided to retire in polluted, ugly, congested city BANGALORE and we can do that because we failed to procreate and remained as DINKS group (Double Income No Kids).New Jersey is known to many as a pharmaceutical mecca on the international stage with several leading pharmaceutical majors headquartered and/or with operations in the state. www.pharmtech.com/view/new-jersey-remains-strong-biopharmaceutical-front DESIS DO NOT KNOW ONE IMPORTANT FACT AND ALSO TRY TO IGNORE IT DELIBERATELY WHEN THEY COME TO KNOW ABOUT THE FACT (mentioned below).Countries like China, Russia, Entire African continent, Entire South American continent, INDIA do not produce original Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API). Developing, testing, conducting research as per the regulatory bodies such as FDA and marketing of any API takes minimum 15 to 20 years. Only 2% of the actual APIs will become finally as prescription drugs. Risk outweighs profits in this business and failure rate is almost 90%. Only handful countries such as US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and Japan have fantastic companies to manufacture original APIs. Among all these countries US is the actual destiny of Pharmaceutical companies because of FANTASTIC PROTECTION TO INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PATENTS LOST FOR TWO DECADES in US. In US, Pharmaceutical companies fixes the MEDICINE PRICES and Government will not interfere in this. This is not the case in the rest of the countries such as Canada, Europe and Japan. NONE OF THE MEDICINES SOLD IN INDIA ARE DEVELOPED IN INDIA AND IN INDIA MEDICINES ARE PRODUCED BY REVERSE ENGINEERING. In DRUG DEVELOPMENT, TWO IMPORTANT PROCESS ARE THERE - 1) SAFETY AND 2) EFFICACY and these process take minimum 15 to 20 years. When India produces the drug by reverse engineering they skip both processes because when a drug hits the market in US, both processes have already been completed. Indian companies have to simply reverse engineer the chemistry or biological processes and manufacture the same API either with different color, shape and label differently. India is also known as PHARMACY OF THE WORLD BECAUSE INDIAN COMPANIES MANUFACTURE MEDICAL DRUGS BY REVERSE ENGINEERING and sell the same at dirt cheap price to the entire world. INDIA DOES NOT RESPECT INTELECUAL PROPERTY AND US PATENTS WHEN IT COMES TO MEDICAL DRUGS. Millions of examples are there but it is difficult to mention them all. MEDICAL DRUGS SOLD IN INDIA ARE CALLED GENERIC DRUGS (produced by reverse engineering), Few examples are given for your reference. MOST POPULAR MESSENGER RNA VACCINES IN US ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE IN BOTH INDIA AND CHINA. Please see the reasons below.That essentially means the globally popular vaccines, which their makers have pledged not to sell to private parties during the pandemic, will not be available for now in the world's two most populous countries - China and India. www.reuters.com/world/india/india-govt-wont-buy-pfizer-moderna-vaccines-amid-local-output-sources-2021-09-21/ Angela Merkel rejects US move to waive patents on vaccines German leader warns loosening trade rules threatens production of Covid-19 therapies www.ft.com/content/76a05a85-b83c-4e36-b04d-7f44f63e57b0 Despite mounting pressure, the chief executives of Moderna and Pfizer have declined to license their mRNA technology in developing countries, arguing it makes no sense to do so. www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/10/22/science/developing-country-covid-vaccines.html India's Supreme Court on Monday rejected drug maker Novartis AG's attempt to patent an updated version of a cancer drug GLIVEC in a landmark decision that health activists say ensures poor patients around the world will get continued access to cheap versions of lifesaving medicines. www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/novartis-loses-landmark-drug-patent-battle-india-flna1c9145349 Big Pharma pushes for U.S. action against India over patent worries www.reuters.com/article/us-india-usa-pharma/big-pharma-pushes-for-u-s-action-against-india-over-patent-worries-idUSBREA150H320140206 Generic Drugs From India Prompting Turf Battles www.nytimes.com/2003/12/26/business/international-business-generic-drugs-from-india-prompting-turf-battles.html Indian Drug Maker Says It Will Keep Attacking Patents Despite Pfizer Loss. www.nytimes.com/2005/12/20/business/worldbusiness/indian-drug-maker-says-it-will-keep-attacking.html AIDS drug provokes patent battle in India. www.nytimes.com/2006/05/10/world/asia/10iht-aids.html 5. LAST BUT NOT LEASST EXPLOITATION.No doubt exploitation is happening since the time memorial and dawn of the civilization. It is a universal phenomena BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE SHOULD TRUN BLIND EYE TO THAT AND SUPPORT AS IGNORANT, INNOCENT, CASTRATED BY STANDER. Once Dr. Marti Luther King told that he is more afraid of people who abet the crime than actually commit the crime. History has recorded everything including oppressors, dictators, revolutions and struggle by masses to overcome the oppression and exploitation. Nelson Mandela was jailed for 30 years for the fight against apartheid. Hi Dileep San, I had done Diploma in Automobile Engineering & worked for 10yrs in Reputed worlds No. 1 Autombile company in Bangalore. But after 10yr also I'm not able to get a high positions due to political (bucketing in Local Language) & not satisfied with what I earning against the commitment. As I already crossed 33yrs & due to Family responsibility I'm not able to do further studies, can I get a job based on my current education in US?

Hello Jagadeesh.. I understand, this is very common problem in workplace. There might be other routes as well, but as far as I know alternative way is to change your company which has abroad presence. Internal transfer togoli -- illa andre try for countries like Canada, Australia which are immigration friendly. Hope this helps.

Hi Dileep sir , just scrolling and found your video which was very helpful.... And thought of asking you one question. I did civil engineer based on my family choice but later I was not interested and now working in Accenture as an IT employee now planning to study masters... Which country would you suggest? Nange family support kuda ella it's all by me .... Please reply
@DileepKarpur2 жыл бұрын
Hello Harshitha.. I'm glad you want to do masters. Ondu, yav country li oodudru, it will require some money. You can come to US, and apply for lower rank university to get scholarship. Neevu illi Masters in information science madbohudu (MIS).. swalpa detailed agi research madi.. it's definitely possible. Don't give up
