With the time and energy it takes me to feel sorry for myself and/or wallow in low self-esteem, I could be doing a single, simple action towards building it up. Start by taking one small, meaningful step in a positive direction. Remember that the little things are not small. The accumulation of many small but estimable acts leads to a measurable growth in self-esteem over time. The manner in which you carry yourself speaks volumes to what is happening inside; we wear ourselves so that others can see us. Notice how you carry yourself, how others carry themselves, and recognize that you can make a change if you want. You get out of something what you are willing to put into it, and no worthwhile thing in life comes without deliberate and consistent effort. Nurture your self-esteem by building a body of overwhelming evidence that serves as proof of being a valuable, truthful, decent human being. You can then walk with your shoulders back, head held high, knowing your worth. Since I'm a practical person, I'll offer you a piece of actionable advice that you can implement today: Find a volunteering opportunity in your community (there are numerous); just give your time and energy in whatever capacity you're able. Helping others helps ourselves, but charity begins at home. If you're not taking care of yourself, then you'll have nothing to give. Good luck. xx Jennifer

Confidence is built on trusting oneself, trusting one's actions, decisions, opinions but also that no matter what life throws at you you will find a way. That your opinions are just as valid as other people's and your opinion of yourself is more valid that what other people think of you - cause only you know who you are and what you're capable of. This can go both ways though - you can have a good or a negative opinion of yourself. If you keep letting yourself down, breaking your own promises to yourself, telling yourself you will do something but then never follow through - why would you have any faith in yourself? If someone else behaved this way towards you - would you trust them? Would you have confidence in them when they never show up for you but they always say they would? Every time you lie to yourself you undermine yourself in your own eyes. Other people might not realise it but you will know deep inside that you failed yourself and so why would you trust you won't do it again? Confidence is built brick by brick - action by action, promise by promise. When you show up in life for yourself and other you get to add another brick. Once you've acquired enough bricks you will have a sturdy wall that you can lean on and other people's opinions will only bounce off if it

Thank you for coming back. This advice you give, is a dying advice leading to a world of chaos. Doing & serving others is the best you can do for yourself. I try everyday to die to myself to serve others and show/spread love. I do take care of myself/health but it's just like parenting. You sacrifice for your child. I appreciate you so much !

Such wise words. You are such a beautiful human (as much inner, as outer beauty.) I find your calming presence, caring heart, healthy self esteem and intelligence, such a breath of fresh air on here. You are the best of You Tube. I struggle with lifelong anxiety and treatment resistant depression. Finding your channel has been a true gift 🎁. Your messages remind me what’s truly important and help boost my mental health so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Even though my professional training is in psychology and I’m 10 years older than you, I have not grown emotionally as much as you have but you inspire me to keep trying and to be kinder to myself along the way. Thank you for being you and for your commitment to service. I wish more people understood the value of service, in helping others and how it can also help build our self esteem by “esteemable acts”, as you say. Nothing brings me more joy than helping others and animals but I need to heed your message and remember to care for myself first. Blessings to you, sweet Jennifer. Have a blessed weekend.

This is the reason to why I follow your channel. You talk about what is important in life. It is very inspiring. And often did I find my way back to your channel and your previous videos. Boy did you hit the nail head according to issues I work with nowadays Jennifer. Thank you. I thought that clicking on this was going to be a horrible mistake. Expecting the typical 2023, I am woman hear me roar, I'm the best and the world needs to acknowledge me plus super, man hating rhetoric. The world needs more people with this type of perspective and ability to grow and evolve in a positive way. You are a fantastic example. Don't let the world ruin you.

im so happy to see you again! i was wondering if youve ever struggled with keeping yourself reserved, and if so you could offer any tips in a future video. i find myself giving too much of my energy within social settings and i feel like i always regret it whenever i find myself alone. just overall tired, overwhelmed and a bit embarrassed. you hold your energy to yourself and never over give yourself, which is especially crazy to me as youve gone viral multiple times! i really admire that about you.

You are a wonderful person Jennifer. I am trying to prioritize myself, I unfortunately havent had the loving supportive family so to love myself or show care to myself is such a difficult thing for me to grasp. I have had a few people telling me about yoga and I'm not sure which type but I have heard yoga nidra is focused on breathing techniques specifically? I might be wrong too. Sometimes when I'm stressed or anxious I hold my breath non intentiionally. Anyway my comment is far too long, I just want to thank you for your channel and for also sharing these I would call them wisdom, knowledge and meaning videos. I tend to see life in patterns and find meaning that way, thank you again and all the best until next time.

I am glad you are back, I love your videos. I do however always had the sense and feeling that you are more on the lonely and sad side than the confident one. Maybe it just has to do with the fact that you don't smile much in your videos. I hope I got it wrong, and that you are happy :-) You are strong, beautiful, I think we can all agree on that. I liked what you said here.
