Hi mate I use a uni knot most of the time but can get book that just show how to tie knot also plenty vids on KZbin showing how to tie knot uni knot is a easy strong knot cheers

I use those little green black fish hooks just have to have the drag set right so you don’t pull the hook

Yeah any little hook will work i find long shank good easy to get the out they don't swallow it down as easy 👍

if you can, get arrowhead squid, its tougher and will never come off. Great vid as usual mate

I use chicken breast ,, squid is good , but the squid in the services stations ain’t the best ,,, I need to go squidding more ,,, u can butterfly them yakkas including the head ,,, marinate in a tray with vinegar garlic black pepper for 30mins ,, dry off on paper towels , then shallow fried till head/bones become crispy ,, the crispy head is surprisingly tasty . With what’s happening globally, sadly u might not have a choice but to start eating your own bait lol

Just got back from 4 days of camping, only caught salmon and pissing rock cod. Why can’t I catch my first drummer, I always use fresh cunjie on high tide.

drummer are hard to come by if u are fishing the wrong areas. Curved rock ledges with a good washy area + burley can provide some hookups to em..

@@KZbinTookMyNickname.WhyNot I was down in Narooma, I’ve caught lots of blackfish on seaweed around Forster way. I’ve seen places that look very good but are way to sketchy, basically have to fish off the rocks with water gushing over them. I only like the dry rocks haha, although I’m considering cleats and a life jacket to get out there
