I resonate with this so much. You made me feel like I am not alone. I wish I could find friends that I can connect with and that think this way. I keep putting it out into the universe that I can find my tribe and I do put myself out there but it’s just not happening. I want spiritual friends who care about their impact on this planet, who are open minded and want to talk about creating and all the possibilities. People who don’t gossip and live in negativity. I am working on being okay with being alone and being happy with my own company. I do enjoy my own company more than I ever have before but I still would love a connection with like minded folks. If you’re in Oregon and feel the same way, hit me up ;)

Heyyy love, oh my goodness, this is exactly how I feel. I just felt the biggest relief reading this, thank you so much for sharing your experience, in such a beautiful too. 🙏🌻 I haven't watched the video yet but I will and I'm sure I will feel it there as well. I'm glad to hear that even though you would love to have people around you, that you're still happy to be with yourself. You sound like a lovely person! It's such a coinsidence, because I'm planning to be in Oregon and near it next year, I'm from the Netherlands (I'm half Dutch, half African). I have so many dreams lately about the things you described, not only but also specifically in this part of the world. I'm still a little in my shell right now though as I'm in recovery of something but I wanted to let you know that I'm so open to this when I'm stable. Maybe even if it's just to talk before my dream of traveling there has come true? I would love to know how you feel about it and if you're open to it; what would then be the best way for you to remember eachother? Much love and I'm wishing you the best, Mira. 🌸

@@M.I.22 Mira, thank you so much for responding! I am more than happy to connect with you. I think it’s amazing that you are planning to be in Oregon and around. I am not scared to meet new people but I can be somewhat reserved at first while I get to know people. I am an observer and listener. I like to get to know people and learn about them, then I become more outgoing and can talk about things people like. It’s a big reason I would love to meet more like minded people, that way we can have things in common that we do want to talk about. The only thing I can think of to connect with each other, safely, is to either share my secondary email address. Then I can delete it in this comment section after you write it down. I also have signal and telegram as another form of communication. What do you think?

here with you ਏਓ I understand how this feels - I moved from Texas to California to find tribe and it took me 6 years, once I did. I'm grateful for my time to go inward, without tribe - to learn myself and do necessary healing. all in divine timing and I'm excited for you to be embraced by others that resonate with your heart. this is another wave of you putting it out to the universe and strengthens this call and desire. I'll be thinking of you in your journey to community. if there are retreats that excite you, this is a wonderful place I've met people. You’re amazing! I have gone on a similar journey from my youth until now. I am getting my hormonal IUD taken out tomorrow which I believe has been affecting my mental health. I am still on this journey, trying to be always healthier, watching what music and movies and books I consume, ridding myself of substances and artificial foods, spending more time with plants and animals and nature. Healing my relationship with myself, my family, friends, and men. Seeking new community and disciplined routines. I’m always expanding and growing in all these things. Trying different things and eliminating and adding new things. I love always reaching a new personal milestone. And when you do take a step back, as inevitably we will fall from time to time, being patient, loving, compassionate, and forgiving with yourself. ❤

The part where you say about not fitting in, observing others and being in deep thought is something I deeply understand and have lived. Recently I have realised the new people I draw in have/do also feel the same way and it I now understand that it is our place to teach, to lead others after all the time we have experienced of understanding the world and others and making it through mostly on our own through the darkest times and challenges. I’m glad you have found your voice to serve others now. It’s beautiful and inspiring to see for all of us others out there x

Sooooooooooooooooo much love! Your words, your experiences and how you shared this......all just beautiful, not because it was a certain way, but because it all came from yur heart. Healing is so important and yet sometimes takes an intimidating amount of effort, energy and time, but it leads us back to ourselves. Rest, lots of homemade plant-based food, moving our body how it wants to be moved, spending time with people we truly appreciate and love and who do the same for us, being around animals, sorrounding ourselves with nature, walking barefoot, dancing and singing, journaling and writing poetry, sitting is silence and meditating, consuming only content that resonates wth our soul and of course being kind to ourselves and to others. The fact that you speak up about all these things and the importance of healing and growing and finding ourselves agan, just speaks for itself. So much appreciation! Thank you Sophia! 💕

Sophia, I am so grateful to have found your channel! This video posted at the right time in life, I needed to hear and watch this today! My journey is also filled with a lot of the things you briefly mentioned (busy mind, fitting in, alcohol, abuse, mental, self image) and it resonated with me. I am in my mid 30s and have finally decided to take a self love journey and on my way to healing and becoming a better person. Breaking the cycle, finding freedom. You have so many wonderful thought provoking ideas you shared and good practices to incorporate! I watched your video today while working out for the first time in years, and it helped the time pass by so quickly. I am going to watch it again all week as it’s so uplifting! I agree with turning off the news, and monitoring your music - people don’t realize how much it truly effects your thoughts and mind. Thank you for sharing your music playlist, about to add it and for also mentioning that documentary - going to check that out too! You are a gem, and a bright light in this world. Good luck on continuing your journey and look forward to more videos! ♥️

I watched your explant journey videos about three months ago and you inspired me to remove mine. You remind me of myself when I'm at my best but these toxic bags have made me so sick that I can't recognize that version of myself anymore. I'm five days away from my surgery and watching this video was just what I needed before this big change in my life. It was a mix of sorrow and nostalgia for the woman I once was but at the same time, a ray of light. It gave me hope and made me realize that I've neglected myself so much, that it's about time I reconnect with myself. Thank you for spreading so much love. I'm crying as I write this but I am also happy because I know I will reach my beautiful leaf.

This video is very beautiful and important, thank you for sharing it with us. A few years, even a few months ago I was still obsessed with the typical vision of "success". Being a boss bitch, being strong and confident, having financial success, living in a big city, being able to afford a huge closet full of clothes, a cool car etc. And I never understood people who were not interested in that, like my sister for example. I thought "if you can be rich and have all those things why do you choose to live a simple and boring life? Why do people move out of big cities that have so much to offer?" etc. But as I grow older, I begin to understand. I'm getting exhausted, just like they did. Exhausted with the "hustle culture", exhausted with this societal pressure and all the systems, tired of living in a huge, dirty city full of crazy people, tired of constant stress and insanely fast-paced life where I barely have time to sit down and breathe. I started longing for simple things. I want to get a satisfying job, I want to live in a place that will make me happy, I want to make beautiful friendships and really CONNECT with others, I want to live a good life at my own pace, take care of myself and not kill myself for the commercial "success", be with my family again. My priorities are changing and I hope that one day society will turn around and start appreciating this beautiful world we have here.
