I qualified in 2021. And when you said may be 15 Lakhs is higher amount to start with, it somehow hurt. It was 15 LPA back then. It is still the same. Why can't students themselves bid high. Companies pay eventually. Trust me. They do. Just don't settle for less. Please.

I have a doubt which is haunting me for a long time. Currently I am pursuing articleship in a very small firm where I am only the single article. I have learned GST returns, it returns, statutory audit( only for 2 companies one medical and the other software industry), I also filled the Roc forms. I also do accounting for a very small client. I worried that, can I get a job in a company with this small amount of knowledge. Should we have the full knowledge of field in which are applying for or the company will train us for that work. Whenever I get this question on my mind, I get stressed out. Please clarify my doubts.

This is true that the practical exposure u r getting right now is very limited. For this u should join industrial training which will give u corporate exposure and job security as well after ca.

No, industrial training is not mandatory. As CA fresher, banking is the most easy to get job with huge demand and mass recruiting. As industrial trainee, u will offcourse get a preference like I was just asked about my work at HDFC and it was done no other ques. Also, u will get better deptt like wholesale banking or big corporates with huge book size. So the exposure u get will be at another level when u will be in direct connect with CFOs of those corporates.

Offer lapse ho jata h And u will not be able to get the offer letter of that co. But some companies now are sending direct acceptance mails to selected candidates even after offer lapsed. So u can accept offer there and can proceed further

Haha I am also from Punjab. Centre selection is more of a work location selection. If u want to join corporates like reliance and can travel to Mumbai u can take Mumbai centre. Delhi will be really busy. Because travelling and staying cost needs to be beared this time.

Hi, please answer this query. I am so tensed. I have cleared my ca finals in 3rd attempt. I have completed my articleship in Transfer pricing in a big 6 firm. I also have a work experience of 6 month now in the same firm. The firm is ready to absorb me after my qualification. They consider me an asset of the team. So should i apply for campus placement in August or shall I wait for the offer of an existing firm and if I am not satisfied with it, can I apply for the next campus placement on January 25? Will it be beneficial. Do company give priority the recently qualified CAs. Please help on this. My interests are in the field of TP, valuations and IB.

U cannot apply for the campus for Jan 25, so u should apply for this one only. Some CAs face issues in getting preferred job after the batch of CAs comes, but if u would be employed and get absorbed in current company it's not a issue.

Just a doubt, how to read a credit rating report....??

Hey, Credit rating is 2-3 pager document. You can start with the Rating rationale where basic details on the company and its operations are given and then try to understand the overall business of the company and the share of different factors impacting its financials. For ex:- in case IOCL , it is into oil refining so if you see they provided Crude oil prices the rating many times. Means it is something directly impacting the company. And to hedge it's risk against price fluctuations in the crude oil, it is common practice to have forward or futures in the commodity. Apart from that, if you see the oil refining process, multiple by products are generated while refiing such as petrol, diesel, LPG etc. Additionally , it is common practice in petroleum industry to have purchases from companies in same business like Reliance or HPCL as supply of the fuel is to be maintained at all times in every corner of the country. So u can expect questions on 1. what is derivative, what positions u need to take interview which scenario, how it is to be accounted etc. 2. How we account for the revenue and cost in case of multiple by products. What are the cost drivers. What are the Internal controls required in the case etc. 3. How we handle the purchases from companies in same business as per Indas 115. And many more. The more u read the credit rating and analytically think through the business and its impact on accounting, taxation, audit aspects. The more u will able to guess what the interviewer would be interested in. I hope I answered the question. I will bring more such videos. Be subscribed to the channel

It depends if the interviewer is talking in english.. Then you should also try to speak in English... But if you think you are not very fluent you can structure simple sentences and slow your pace and remember to purposefully pause between sentences. keep practicing! 🙂

The offer by companies on campus is time restricted, as per past trend you have to accept the offer on the same day or sometimes they even give you 24 hrs to accept the offer but not more than that.
