I like this a lot, the pop of orange on her top and the butterfly, along with the blue eyes is really neat. Do you think this is only for mostly line art or lightly shaded grayscale type of pictures, or would it work on pictures darkly shaded in grayscale? I have various books with different degrees of grayscale, some just a hint and some with pretty heavy grayscale. I think I will try this on some of those pages. Oh your background is really great, if you remember how you did it, I would love to see a video. That background would really good on a lot of pages, where a person didn't want to add another color to their page.

To be honest I've never tried it with greyscale. Definitely worth a try. I could see it working nicely with light greyscale - the shading already there would help a lot with knowing where to place shadows and how darkly to shade. Not sure it would work quite as well on really dark greyscale but I do have a dark greyscale colouring heaven I could try it out on.... you have me intrigued now lol. I'll have a mess around and try to figure out how I did the background 😉
