How I Connect My Solar Generator To My House Fuse Panel

This video is a quick overview of how I connect my mountain cabin to a solar generator using the fuse panel. This allows me to run my entire house off of a 120 volt generator or solar power station. This video is for entertainment purposes only! This is not a instructional video of any kind. All electrical work should always be handled by a professional electrician.

Looks good to me. A fuse on the incoming generator power isn’t super necessary because you still have a man on your breaker panel, right? I guess a 2*-pole fuse for that line wouldn’t hurt unless you are already protected somewhere in that gen line.

Agreed. The fuses were already installed in the pedestal box I installed so I wired them in. The more control the better I guess. Thanks for the comment and happy camping.
