Is there a reason you dont just W morde at 9:40? What's the purpose behind denying morde's R?

The tower dive is super risky, if his ult goes off he steals 10% or w/e of stats which heals him slightly. If my W doesn't kill, then his shield comes off CD, it could easily turn in his favor. Just no need to greed the ult in a risky situation. Secure the kill and get out

@@DirtyMobs Thanks for taking the time to reply! I had this EXACT situation come up in my game 2 hours ago; I just went for the W, I got ulted, and the stats made him survive the burst. I died under tower for free..

At 25:55 is why I hate mord second, he was far behind in kills and still a menace, and not because the kit of mord is good but annoying as heck Gwen I think is worse

It would've been way better if Dirty ulted after Morde ult, because ulting before caused his tentacles to spawn in the overworld. Only had one from his passive when it could've been three. It's hind sight though.

Have you ever tried to play Malmortius as the first item against Mordekaiser (I have also been playing Illaoi for a long time and also recommended by you I play Black Cleaver against Mordekaiser and I win) I started playing Malmortius recently and I notice that I have much more damage in general than in some situations where you also have the enemy jungler ap does a lot in my opinion.

Days with Divine Sunderer was so goood playing as Illaoi , you could play vs your biggest counter , but if you was good , dodge few skillshots/abilities you could turn that for your win bcs of your healing from Divine, Riot destroy this game so much...

consistently winning against your biggest counter because of an item does seem a bit too strong. divine was doing that a lot, and it made the alternative sheen items a joke at the time. i think divine was the thing that was destroying the game aha thats why its gone

No matter the elo, all mordekaisers always ult illaoi at a team fight even if she is not carrying the game 😂 they all share the same neuron

Illaoi beats Mordekaiser 1v1 but loses to Mordekaiser in team battle. That’s the summary of Illaoi vs Mordekaiser matchup. If played right, Mordekaiser can force Illaoi to waste her r and Mordekaiser without r is better than Illaoi without r in team battle.

Yorick on other hand beats Illaoi at any stage of the game provided Yorick is not way too behind and maximizes the amount of mist walkers to hide behind to negate Illaoi E. Yorick is the number 1 top hardest counter to Illaoi.

Yeah like the other guy said if morde takes illaoi R out of the fight, the enemy wins the game. He doesn't need to kill you in the realm. It's a very smart play to morde r illaoi still Even if you hold R in morde ult until it expires, you'll either be too low to make the most out of your R in that fight, or too late to R because it's been a whole 7 seconds the enemy team was able to run over yours with zero fear of illaoi

Try playing fiddlesticks with a morde on enemy team. They actually subconsciously start warding just to look for you

I've once been destroyed by a Mordekakser. He would never ever ult someone else than me. Even if I was dead catched just before the fight. In that case he would just not ult the entire fight. Since that day, whenever I play against a morde. the game doesn't matter. I'm focused only on killing them again and again, never ever team fighting (he wins team fights even when very far behind anyways).
