Alhamdulillah. Welcome brother. I reverted to Islam 40 years ago. It's been wonderful to raise children in Islam, now seeing my grandchildren practicing Islam. It's a beautiful life, regardless of all the hate. Islam continues to grow, mostly on the internet. May Allah ta'Ala continue to spread Islam in America before America destroys itself.

Stupid Islam is a violence religion From the Qur'an: 1. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:120): "And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, 'Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance.' If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper." 2. Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:51): "O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. Surah Al-Ahzab (33:64): "Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze." 5. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:191): "And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al-Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers." 6. Surah Anfal (8:12): "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. So strike them upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip." 7. Surah Al-Anfal (8:39): "And fight them until there is no fitnah and the religion, all of it, is for Allah. And if they cease-then indeed, Allah is Seeing of what they do." 8. Surah At-Tawbah (9:5): "And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them go on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." 9. Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:33): "Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment." 10. Surah Muhammad (47:4): "So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterward or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens." 11. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:89): "And when there came to them a Book from Allah confirming that which was with them-although before they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved-but [then] when there came to them that which they recognized, they disbelieved in it; so the curse of Allah will be upon the disbelievers." 12. Surah An-Nisa (4:56): "Indeed, those who disbelieve in Our verses-We will drive them into a Fire. Every time their skins are roasted through, We will replace them with other skins so they may taste the punishment. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted in Might and Wise." 13. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:65): "And you had already known about those who transgressed among you concerning the Sabbath, and We said to them, 'Be apes, despised.'" 14. Surah Al-A’raf (7:166): "So when they were insolent about that which they had been forbidden, We said to them, 'Be apes, despised.'" 15. Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:4): "They are the enemy, so beware of them. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?" 16. Surah Al-Baqarah (2:88): "And they said, 'Our hearts are wrapped.' But, [in fact], Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so little is it that they believe." 17. Surah An-Nisa (4:89): "They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them." 18. Surah At-Tawbah (9:23): "O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you-then it is those who are the wrongdoers." 19. Surah Al-Anfal (8:55): "Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe." 20. Surah At-Tawbah (9:111): "Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed." --- From Hadith: 1. Sahih Muslim (Book 41, Hadith 6985): "The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews, and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: 'Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.'" 2. Sahih Bukhari (Volume 4, Book 52, Hadith 176): "You (Muslims) will fight with the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones will betray them saying, 'O Abdullah (i.e., slave of Allah)! There is a Jew hiding behind me; so kill him.'" 3. Sunan Abu Dawood (Hadith 4347): "Do not initiate the Salam to the Jews and Christians; and if you meet any of them in a road, force them to its narrowest alley." 4. Sahih Bukhari (Volume 4, Book 53, Hadith 386): "The Prophet said, 'He who fights that Allah's Word (Islam) should be superior, fights in Allah's Cause.'" 5. Sunan Abu Dawood (Hadith 4339): "The Messenger of Allah said: 'Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Wage Jihad in the way of Allah and do not embezzle the spoils of war; do not break your pledge, and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies.'" 6. Musnad Ahmad (Hadith 27409): "The Prophet said, 'The earth belongs to Allah and His Messenger, and I want to expel you (Jews) from this land.

same here. Born into a Muslim family, but didn't practice for many, many years. It was only after some personal issues that catapulted me to learning and rediscovering Islam, especially through the lens of revert Muslims. One thing I have learned is, that most people born into any faith rarely practice the tenets of that faith. Amongst all that, there are the 'lukewarm' Muslims who barely know the religion. Then, there are the agnostics and the hidden atheists masquerading as Muslim (for the sake of family ties) The 'cultural ' Muslims form the majority of the faith. Neither or barely practising, they only do and see things as part of culture and NOT as religion. Revert Muslims have a good understanding and yearning, after having studied the faith, something which born and cultural Muslims rarely do.

Brother my advise is..dont think just because you accepted Islam..your tests are over..its easier said than done..but be patient my brother…you are forgiven for what you do in ignorance but once you come across proofs of something being an obligation or haram, you must act upon it…may Allah keep you steadfast

Yup he is right. Shaytaan (Satan) is constantly trying to lead us astray from Islam. My advice as a born Muslim and Pakistani is to keep up with the daily prayers, especially the Friday prayer and the khutbah( lecture). I would recommend watching all the prophets stories from the Islamic perspective on Islamic Inspiration channel. It will really open up your eyes and strengthen your faith.
