🤔 for me chart rigging would be non legitimate purchases more so than getting people to coordinate their purchases, but that’s just me.

you know what i noticed about the beatport top charts versus say the more realistic spotify viral dance charts the beatport charts tracks the sales of djs_most of these guys are older and just play popular names for their gigs_they play it safe_this is just a job this is how say John Summit makes one good track 'Deep End remix'_nothing else good since_but still djs keep buying playing his mediocre tracks out because he has a name now_he sampled a viral track for 'deep end'_which made his name popular_beatpott charts are mostly based on popular names now a mediocre skrillex comeback house track is #1_because its skrillex_that's it_afterlife anyma_drumcode_nothing special_theyre just popular labels I say focus on going viral thru the people_legit audience will spread it into popularity_THEN the beatport djs will buy it up the chart_only then_focus on spotify i just saw wolfgang boss (columbia/b1) just bought creeds - push up_why? it went viral in the spotify trigger cities_THEN it climbed to #1 on beatport_you see
