Thank you for the behind the scenes experience Barbara. There is so so much work, love and care artists put into their pieces. We often take for granted this fact and it is good to get a reminder, every once in a while, that when we see/purchase a finish work of art, we need to appreciate the amount of hours, commitment, dedication, passion, and care an individual puts on the creative process.

That was freaking interesting! I was like oh wow, how different can creators work?! So crazy! Same result - a digital printable paper - and so very different ways of work behind. Some steps are totally the same but others... Wow. I loved the part when Ray painted the images! She's sooo very talented! And you as well! Thank you so much for this view over your shoulders!

Thanks for sharing your process, Barbara. I thought this video was very interesting and was completely clueless about what was involved in making your beautiful digital kits. It was fun getting to watch your talented artist friend also. I too, am interested in the Middle East and follow some Egyptians on KZbin. I'm also super fascinated with Jordan and was befriended by a Jordanian who did a work-study here while in college. He adopted me as his American mom and we enjoyed getting to know him and learning about his country and culture.🥰

Thank you so much for bringing us along for this process. Even though I myself am technically challenged, I appreciate opportunity to be exposed to new processes . Also, I wanted to express my appreciation to you and your “partner-in-crime,” Louisa, for the dedication and commitment to #dephemerember. Both of your videos was something special to look forward to daily while we have been essentially home due to the spikes in omicron . I thank you for allowing us to see that the process is not always without glitches and not all techniques turn out as planned. Not every project is successful. I learned so much from both of you! Great job! You are the best!

Very cool to see your process😍 Suggestion, make sure when printing that “fit to page” is not highlighted. When it is highlighted, even when you’ve selected borderless, the program enlarges the image and the outer edges of the image are lost. Hope that helps.

This is a very enjoyable and informative video, which I will undoubtedly watch many more times. I am new to junk journaling, and have been wondering how I might use my many boxes of my own embroideries, crocheted fine thread doilies made of fine threads, and tatting, in digital form. It was very helpful to see and understand the digital process, and actually I now have more than insight into layering actual physical elements before creating digitals for additional use. Thank you very much for creating this video.

Really enjoyed this Barbara, strangely I was only thinking the other day that I would like to know how digitals were made. A lot of work as I can see, I’ve already bought your Egyptian kit and it’s gorgeous. I went there myself a few years ago now and went down in a pyramid and also went around the museums in Cairo and Alexandria, fantastic! I have quite a few souvenirs that I brought back. Would like to go again one day, this time to Luxor. Thankyou so much for sharing, take care and stay safe xx

Thanks so much June! How amazing you were able to see some of Egypt! Luxor is a dimension of its own, quite overwhelming! You feel like a tiny ant walking among the temples and monuments! Thanks so much for purchasing my kit! ❤️

This was so interesting. My granddaughter wan't to go into an art program in college so I will make sure she has the link to watch this video. It's amazing what 16-yr olds can do these days. Thank you Barbara and also give our thanks to Ray for letting us watch over her shoulder.

I really appreciated watching this video Barbara. I think so many people that buy digitals have no idea what goes into it and it was so interesting to see the illustration side of it together with all the post illustration work that you do. I especially liked watching you put all the layers in and it gives us all a good appreciation of how much effort and time goes into each one of these kits and of course so much love. I really enjoyed this behind the scenes video. TFS!
