Thank you for a very very good tutorial! Very educational and exactly what I was looking for. I'm glad your video was the first I found when reading through all the other nice comments you've received. One thing I notice is that you don't use different layers when making your design? Isn't that necessary since you're adding photographs and not stamping with stamps? Thinking when using the eraser that only the photo you just attached is being erased. I hope you understand what I mean.

Thank you so much for the wonderful tutorial! I have really wanted to try to make my own digital paper for my DYI projects, what are your recommendations for getting all these assets? I have seen so many videos where they don't explain how they get the images in their galleries or what the best resources are.
@thecreativecove68982 жыл бұрын
I don’t have many recommendations to be honest. I only have my iPad and procreate program. There are we sights that you can purchase a membership for the rights to use their images. Like the graphics fairy is one I have heard of. In this video I just use images from google because I’m not selling the pages. They are for my personal use only. Hope that helps.

Hi, I just found this video and I have to say: you are showing your audience how to use an image that has copyright on it. You said you are creating those designs for your own journal, so I guess there's no problem with that, but you are showing it on youtube and I think that's not such a good idea. My suggestion for future tutorials like this: just use copyright free images for you designs.
@thecreativecove68982 жыл бұрын
Hi Luise, Yes these pages are for personal use only which is why I mention it. Not for resale at all. I have other videos now with procreate on how to draw all original images. Thank you for your feed back I believe in protecting the integrity of all artists and their work. Cheers Michele
@luxurycardstore2 жыл бұрын
I agree. Royalty free images are so abundant these days because of Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay I don't understand why you would use copyright images. Not to mention saying that you are not selling the images doesn't make it ok. If I took your car without your permission but told you "it's no big deal I'm just using it for myself it's not like I'm not going to sell it" I'm pretty sure you would call the police. Oh and a KZbin channel is not a charity. Most people intend to profit either directly or indirectly from it.

@justimaginejournals-yvonne77603 жыл бұрын
Hi Michelle - New subbie here and yet to buy my iPad. What size/capacity iPad memory/storage would you recommend e.g. 32 gb? 64 gb etc? as I imagine you need to store a lot of images and graphics esp as adding more all the time and then storing the finished papers? Can you also design e.g. a pocket or tag on this? After watching many videos, yours is the first that really resonates with me as I make junk journals as well. Would love to see more of your Procreate videos. Thank you so very very much. Yvonne

Hi, thank you for subscribing 😊 I would always recommend the most memory you can afford. I think mine is 64 gb. I have designed pockets and tags as well as envelopes and book marks. Oh that’s a good point. I didn’t include that in the video. You go to the share menu and export it into a format like a PDF and then I export it via email to my phone and print. I haven’t set up my iPad to my printer yet. My printer is Bluetooth. Printing will vary on your set up.
