Sis the music with your vlogs lately have been on point!! Love the idea of slowing down as I've embraced this too. When I lived abroad I noticed the difference of the people there. Taking the time to sit, enjoy family and/or friends or just yourself. It's been such a wonderful experience, unlearning the bad habits of rush, rush , rush US living taught me. Now, I'm totally ok with not having a calendar of plans.

Thank you for noticing the music selection. Sometimes, I'm not sure if the change up will go over well. So thank you.

The hustle culture is what this country (United States) has embedded into our brains. If you rest, you say “ I’m being lazy today” or the “lazy Sunday” 🤦♀️ I left my full time healthcare job to per diem now. It allows me to be in charge and control of the days and hours I work. Just took a 15 day family vacation to Central America.

Yes, we must all find Balance in our lives. You are such an inspiration! I have been traveling through the different parts of Mexico for the past 2 years and have finally settled in Puebla. I am very happy with my surroundings and the people in this town. I am struggling with being by myself all the time. I Live in the country with all the farm animals and beautiful landscape, however, there is no one to talk to within a 20 minute drive. I do not have a vehicle and there is no public transportation. I think what is making me feel so lonely is I have met someone who seems to really like me but I do not see him enough and I would really love a committed relationship with him, but he has not talked to me about our relationship. I do plan on having that conversation with him so I can adjust my emotions and move on, if need be. My point is, yes, we must find and create balance to have a joyful and prosperous life.

I believe living with intention/slow living kicks in after a certain age. I started living with purpose when I hit my 40’s. 8 years later and my life feels so full (in the best way possible). Although I work 9 to 5 and have my own business, I still feel like I choose and I’m very intentional about the things that I do. I think in some instances it just comes with age. Now, don’t get me wrong. These young people are living their best lives however, I still feel like there’s a certain sense of intention after a certain age.

Hey Antoinette 👋👋 I must say I absolutely LOVE the life you are living! My dream is to move away from the U.S as well. My issue is when I move will I run across other expats to bond with as well as work. I need to find (remote) work when/if I do. The place I'm thinking about moving to I'm wanting to visit several times before hand to get an idea of the area. But you are inspiring!

Antoinette, you have been so inspiring to me; especially since you moved to Bangkok! I’ve mentioned previously that I lived in Thailand (from ‘14 thru ‘18), so I’m enjoying the nostalgia. Even more so I’m inspired to take steps toward not only becoming who, but being right where the Lord wants me to be. That’s a huge challenge being here in the hustle and bustle of the States and at my big age of 57, but NOTHING is too hard for my God and with Him, nothing is impossible. Keep living intentionally and I pray you are inspiring others, regardless of age, to do the same! ❤

It may be too late to say but you can make cashew milk and add less water to it making it thick to foam. Also consult Google on what is closest to heavy whipping cream.

Hey, KZbin friend!! Just an FYI, heavy whipping cream and heavy cream are exactly the same thing. Some brands label their product as heavy cream, and other brands label it heavy whipping cream, but they're the same. I have a French press that I've had for about 7 or 8 years now, and I've found that my preferred cup of coffee goes like this: 1 cup of water - heat up on the stove until tiny bubbles begin to form. This sometimes takes about 3 min to get the temp I like. 1 HEAPING tablespoon of coffee (almost overflowing) And sometimes a dash of cinnamon Pour the hot water over the coffee grinds (and cinnamon if you add any) in the French press and let sit with the press lid closed but not pushed down, for 3 min to brew the coffee. After 3 min, press down and pour your coffee, then add the heavy cream to your liking. Basically, my perfect cup of French press coffee takes about 6 min total, but it's worth it. Life is too short for mediocre coffee.
