THE PERFECT 4-3-3 | FM22 TACTICS
Creating perfect tactics in #FM22 can be a bit daunting, but in this Football Manager 2022 video, I breakdown how I created the PERFECT 4-3-3 in the hope it helps others to be able to create their "perfect" tactic from scratch. In the video, I showcase the results I got with AS Roma, my method at looking at the squad and recognising it's strengths, creating the tactic and style of play including the use of DATA HUB, and lastly, we play a match to see how the tactic plays out in Football Manager 2022.

Im playing Alvarez in the DM position with my Ajax. I find that when you play a high DL even the DM on defend will get into the midfield to help out. And with the ‘tackle harder’ pi you kind of get a very versatile role. He helps playing out of defence, supports the midfield in attack while also being aggressive in covering
@RDFTactics
@RDFTactics 2 жыл бұрын
For sure! Difference with the support is without the "hold shape", so he's able to cover and be more fluid with position rotations with the other midfielders. So rather him cover the backline, he'll be covering the midfield, even pressing ahead of the 2 CMs at some times

Great video RDF. It's great to get an understanding of how the tactic is working and to make the necessary tweak. I think poles really dont mind misspronouncing our language, but if u curious "Szczęsny" is pronounce: Sz (like "sh) in "show") cz (like "ch" in "chop") ę (u start with 1st "e" from "elephant" and then 1st sound of "went", that w without e), s (like in salad) n (thats simple i think) and y (like in "mill", but on more hard side, close to "ü" in "Müller" but not that hard, in between "mill" and "müller"). An accent is on 1st syllable: ShChEWsnü. Szczęsny meant lucky/happy (its the same Word in polish) in archaic polish (now its "szczęsliwy") and its also polish equivalent of a name Felix. Really thanks for your videos, i've developed a lot in understanding of making tactics.

Great video! Going right back to the beginning/fundamentals of building a tactic is a wonderful idea. I've played FM for years but I tend to only play a save or 2 each game, so I find these things are the things I need to remind myself a lot as I get settled in. Im gonna have to have to watch this a few times and see if I can take anything from it regarding the overloads and switching the play for different systems. Loving the longer style and the addition if a "live" game in the newer videos, its great to see more of your personality come through. 🔥You're in the zone!🔥

Hey. I always love your 433 setups. They play great football! I have a question/request for you. For my sins I play as Spurs (don't hate) and I find that many of the 'created' tactics just do not favour a slow striker (Harry). In the 433's I tend to play him as a Mezzal which I think he is really good at - normally in support as he doesn't dribble so well. Can you create some form of tactic where a slow striker can score? Whilst I am sure Kane would be great in a two striker role player deep, I want a tactic where he is the leading scorer. Happy for it to be a solo striker formation too. KUTGW

Like the tactic continue to enjoy your work. Im curious about contradictions that personally I see. Why not just play CD(d) rather than BPD and pass shorter??!! When u use data hub the midfield passing was inefficient surely adding take more risks is going to make u lose the ball more making u less efficient. And the wb crossing being inefficient than adding cross more surely just gonna be more inefficient??!! Maybe it's just the way I see the game but doesn't make sense to me ?? Not criticising just trying to understand
@RDFTactics
@RDFTactics 2 жыл бұрын
With the CBs, it’s more about the characteristics. They tend to bring the ball forward and play the occasional long vertical or diagonal ball. With the midfielders, not necessarily. Added players instructions you’re only increasing the tendency. So they aren’t always going to take the risky pass. Similar to BPDs, they won’t always pass it shorter, just increasing the tendency. The WGs crossing wasn’t inefficient, it was good and we want to emphasis on that. It was more of us being ineffective scoring from them so we wanted to increase the chances

First of all, inverted wing backs, when u defend they become dms, and also run to cover and defend left back and right, mezzala on attack, dlp on support, if or iw, shadow striker, and af. U play and wait the middle to attack and cut in, that way u have 5 players that can score.

Brilliant video. I have had some great success with my 433 and it is similar to this. I made a few tweaks in a game based on this video and really dominated. Thank you so much.

Brilliant tactics mate. I'm a total novice at the game and was struggling badly. I like attacking football and added my own spin to it. Doesn't this make you realize that defensive football is very basic. I'm good at getting clean sheets, but struggled to score a lot. The best managers are the ones who are successful with attacking teams. Defensive is more down to luck and very hard work.

Better than the asymmetric Ajax tactic? 🤯🤩

That's a tough one! lool I think the Ajax maybe just be a little better - possibly lol but I think this one would work with more teams

@@RDFTactics That’s fair, I feel like this also works for weaker teams whereas the Ajax one requires slightly more dominant teams. Thanks for all the content 🙌🏼🎉
