My hair use to be a little under my butt and I cut it mid back length. Now it's almost shoulder length and I keep it in a bun so my family won't notice. Curling time, since it's the only time my hair get floofy it'll be hard for them to tell if it's shorter or not

You’re hair looks so cute curly! I can never flat iron curl my short hair. It’s like impossible for me! Sometimes I use a smaller barrel curling iron and just wrap it around. But still I try too hard to make it perfect when really it doesn’t have to be haha.

I loved your video, but I’m always surprised that curly girls seem to think there are only two options to heat curl hair, either an iron or tongs. I have been using good old fashioned heated rollers for years as I find them much easier to handle, they don’t damage your hair (or your fingers!), leave them in while you do your makeup and have brekky, take them out and you’re done!

I enjoyed this tutorial, thank you so much. I recently just cut my hair probably the same length as yours, and I’ve never had it this short before. I prefer to use a flat iron over curling wand so that was a plus to the vid. I’ve only tried once to curl it and it was total fail did not like my results, because I was not alternating the curls as you did. With long hair you don’t need to alternate so thanks for that! 🥰

I just tried to do this with my just above the shoulder length hair and my problem was trying to get the hairs to glide smoothly through the plates. My hair kind of skipped and stopped every time I tried to glide. I used It's a 10 volumizer blow dryer spray; I will try a different heat spray next time, hopefully that will work. Your hair is adorable ❣️

Hi love! That actually makes a lot of sense because it does happen to me on some prices of my hair too. It mainly happens to my drier end and I just try to hold the flat iron as loose as possible with those areas rather than squeezing the plates together super tight. Also try using a smoothing heat protectant that maybe could be it! Let me know how it goes next time 😊 I hope that helps!
