Hi fellow riders,
This is my first time ever talking on camera, so please go easy on me.
I forgot to mention a few mods:
Muffler modification
Tail tidy from Puig
Folding levers
Hope this helps you with your own builds!

Good go. You may want a HP Corse exhaust system. It goes inside the support. Sounds great as well.

I will mount a Black widow exhaust. Don't see the need for a high mount just yet..
@2lbsTrigrPull

Really cool! Do you think about swapping the exhaust for a higher one or don't you think it's necessary? I bought the HP Corse High exhaust that mounts to two bolts where the license plate carrier is mounted to but it has one small problem and that's the space my right foot needs is now a little obstructed by the new exhaust pipe... 😂😂
@Gwiedert
@Gwiedert Жыл бұрын
You are not the first to ask this question😉 I don't feel the need to change it to a high mount just yet. Have dropped the bike a lot and it didn't cause any serious so far. Didn't know that the exhaust would come so close to your feet. Good to know for the future perhaps👍

Nice 👌🏻 interesting to hear what others are changing. I’m contemplating taking all the crash bars off as they’re so heavy and just take the risk. May also switch bashplate from AdventureSpec to a lighter plastic one.

Thanks😇 Bashplate sits down low, it's weight you notice the least. Just so you know😉

Excellent bike man! Regarding removing one of the front brakes - how much ‘worse’ is the front brake now? And was it simply removing one side, or did you get a bigger rotor with bracket for caliper?
@Gwiedert
@Gwiedert Жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! It certainly reduces the braking power a bit, but my tyres are still the limiting factor when it comes to braking. It is still plenty for my kind of use, which is mainly offroad riding. I simply removed the rotor and caliper. Didn't bother changing to a bigger rotor just yet, as I wanted to test out this setup first. Which till now, seems to work just fine👍
@JohannesDalen
@JohannesDalen Жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for the information - I just might end up doing the same, just because I love to shed weight on my bikes 😁 Might be hard to justify to the ‘crowd’ after taking a more adv-touring route, but the offroader in me wants more offroad 🤘
@Gwiedert
@Gwiedert Жыл бұрын
@@JohannesDalen I know the feeling🤣 Sounds like a plan! Although I think in your case, if you happen to use your T7 for travelling as well, I would go for a bigger rotor and use a conversion bracket for the caliper.
@JohannesDalen
@JohannesDalen Жыл бұрын
I think I will sometime in the future, but I also want to try with the stock rotor, lines and MC, just to see. Thanks so much for your information and help, ‘earned’ a sub 😁
@Gwiedert
@Gwiedert Жыл бұрын
@@JohannesDalen Stock MC for sure won't work, I can tell you that. Also you need some new brakelines. But those are relatively cheap changes. To compensate for the removal of the disk you will need an MC that moves half the amount of brake fuel compared to the stock MC. Thanks for subscribing, it's an honour😉

Offroad 2 bar in this tire is a lot. I drive 1-1.4 bar in the same tire with holder (1.85 and 2.5" rims) This tire are very strong.
@Gwiedert

It is a lot, but as long as it gives me enough grip it's fine. And it reduces de wear rate. I am using stock rims without rim lock btw.

Looks good! Could iterate on that canister 7:23? Do you know the current weight of your bike? Are you planning to replace your muffler (that is a big weight saver)? If so, which exhaust are getting?
@Gwiedert
@Gwiedert Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Sure, the canister is a part that uses fumes coming from the fuel tank and redirects it into your intake manifold. It connects with 2 hoses to the intake and with 1 hose to a tilt sensor that blocks the fuel when the bike is dropped. I do in fact plan on getting an exhaust. It will be a Black widow exhaust. I didn't bother changing it till now, cause I have the tendency to drop my bike every now and then. I haven't been able to weigh the bike yet, but I have weighted the parts that came of and they were 10kg's all together.

hey this is an interesting build! What was needed to remove the fuel fume canister? and also a video or pictures of the fender mount will be amazing!
@Gwiedert

Not much was needed. Just remove the fuel tank, so you have acces to the hoses that are coming from it. Remove all the hoses, plug the holes, take the canister out by cutting the rubber sleeve that holds it in place. I can't share picture here and I won't make a seperate video just about that single part. What do you need to know?
