Thank you. I've been on the fence about buying one of these to cut rocks. For $69 at Harbor Freight, it's a great solution.

Any time! For tumbling purposes it works just fine

Hello, I think your results are good ! I have seen others cut rocks with a much more expensive saws and still get blade marks and chip offs towards the end of certain rock cuts that maybe are a little softer material. I use a Skil wet tile and once the blade went dull I went to harbor freight not wanting to wait for one to come in the mail. It was only $20 and cuts like better. Your cuts are amazing looking !

Thanks for watching! I've had fun with the saw for sure!

Wow, that sure does change the look of the rocks. I ordered some Mexican Crazy Lace Agate to tumble and some of them look pretty bland with just a hint of what patterns may be inside. Was thinking of trying to break them up a little with a hammer, but I think I will wait on that. I might know of someone with a tile saw that I might be able to borrow, or maybe just pick one up from Harbor Freight. Oh boy, my shopping list for there is getting longer! Looking forward to your next video.

Thanks so much! Its definitely a journey that gets more and more expensive

Ive been using that same tile saw and it works good. Its a great option when you cant afford much. Just a good blade costs more than the whole saw. I paid $40 new.

I had looked at a lapidary saw on Amazon for for $169 that had a flexible shaft on the side for polishing and ext I wonder which would be the better route to go

When I saw it.. I was like NoWay. This dude is down with the hive andddd he's cutting rocks? Super badass 😎

Pull the rocks into the saw instead of pushing them. Change sides so you dont get soaked and keep a hose running in the side on a trickle.

All great advice! I'll have to give them a try. Not getting soaked would be great

What size is that saw and what blade would you recommend for cutting rocks?
@RockOnUtah5 ай бұрын
This is a 7 inch. Its only good for small pieces. You would need a larger blade to do big cuts where an actual lapidary saw would be best
