Harli the water in your aquarium is string algae you can use algaefix made by API pond from most home improvement stores like Lowe’s and pet stores will not harm fish or plants I use it in my koi pond and my dogs even drink water from the pond and it doesn’t hurt them it does cause low oxygen levels so they recommend to use aeration while using it I have a koi pond right by my deck so I have learned the tips and tricks to keep it clear I’ve had my pond for about 15 or so years and only keep butterfly koi and most of them will follow me around the pond and eat and lay in my hand koi are so smart they can tell the difference between people they can live to be quite old I have one that is around 7 years old and he is very large 😊

A beautiful, mysterious jungle mural, with exotic birds and strange-looking little animals peering out, would be amazing over your bed...instead of some headboard. Or, even an exotic jungle wallpaper on that wall would also be amazing! And then you could have even more lovely plants, always there to make you smile each time you entered your bedroom. And thanks for your interesting and personal videos. Keep trekking...into the mystic. kristi

Hi Harli, I really loved this houseplant collection home tour, you have so many beautiful plants and the places you have them set up is so wonderful. I really love all of my Syngonium and they are in my south facing window, and so are all of my succulents, they are all doing just fine. I am probably going to set up more grow lights, I have a few but not many. Thanks again this was such a fun video to watch, have a beautiful rest of your day, sending love and many hugs, bye! 😍😂😘👋👋👍💝💖💜

Gahh your set up is so gorgeous 😭!! 0:45 & I think vining plants get bigger if they grow up instead of hanging down? That’s what I’ve been taught & what I’ve noticed at least. My great grandma has huge philos & I love them so she tells me all about em. 8:16 your dresser reminds me of mine in my college dorm. The RAs used to joke & call me jungle book💀. But that begonia wightii is sooo gorgeous! They are my favourites & you’re taking amazing care of it. Your grandma would be proud😌

I remember the unboxing video when you got the Adenia Glauca. I looked it up & ordered one for myself a couple of weeks after seeing your video. I would say mine (the actual trunk) is about the same size as yours. I keep mine outside in open shade & it has grown like crazy. I'd say the new growth is probably 2-3 times as big as when I got it.

@Christian.Laurent Жыл бұрын
@HarliG Does the darkest variegation on your "white butterfly" stay dark as it spreads towards the middle of the leaves from the edge, or does it "stretch" and fade while other leaves get light creamy colored? Does it vine slowly, or almost right away as it matures? I have two sold as such, and one like yours, seems to be a cultivar that I'm guessing is something like Glo Go; Bob or Randy. The dark green variegation only gets stronger as it matures, while the true butterfly steers towards the white side most of the time. They both get the same amount of light. Also, totally agree with you about S. erythrophyllum. Probably the most defiant of that genus, from my collection. Sometimes it wants bright light, sometimes it's a vampire lol.

I just saw your video. The plant in water, that keeps getting algae in it. Put 1-2 drop’s of peroxide in the water. It keeps the bacteria away longer. In water plants. But pay attention to the percentage of the peroxide count. 1 % is recommended. I can only find 3% and it’s very strong for my plant’s. So it’s been trial and error. If you put to much peroxide it will disintegrate the roots. Hope this helps. 🙂

Re Spider plants. My cat went weird a few days ago, pupils dialated and spooked out. I thought his food was tainted with something. This morning I heard crunching and saw the cat chewing the leaf of a spider plant. Turns out cats like spider plants because they get a hallucination effect from chewing them. I now have a coke head cat in rehab.
