i think sprites are drawn by different artists, so there might be a style difference there. even so, all the designs and splash art are made by komatsuzaki. hope this helps!

FINALLY THE TUTORIAL I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR- How tf does this only have 3k views I honestly thought there'd be way more,Komatsuzakis splash style is a hard one to imitate,but you do it perfectly,heck if I saw this next to say Kyokos splash,I'd assume they were by the same artist!Amazing job and very good tutorial overall,I definitely have a better understanding of how to go about this style in the future!

Woah.. I needed this, Ive been drawing since around 2015, and my skill has gotten pretty good, but I’m creating a Danganronpa FanGame with my friends and we have made the characters but not splash arts, so this is really what I needed (I’m kinda still a beginner, I can’t draw poses very good and it takes me lots of time but I’m good on shading and drawing folds on clothes and stuff. Perspective is something I need to really improve on-)

I think art software doesn't actually matter. what's important is to pick one and continually practice using it, you want to be good enough where basic functions are fast and easy. but most artists who draw in this style use paint tool sai, I think. hope this helps!
