I liked what you’ve said; “dressing professional is not about us, it’s about our clients” 👌🏽

Hi everyone, I'm trying something a little bit different here - a little more BTS/Vlog/Slice of Life. Let me know what you think! And I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season ☃

Great video; Couple things: Firstly, You mentioned the construction of neckties. So now I'm imagining you doing another deep dive, like the one on socks, into neckties. (Just a future video idea) Secondly, Way to go Chelsea boots being the number-1 all-rounder! And lastly, I love your editing style and comedy. Keep up the great work!

Thank you! 100% a deep dive into neckties is coming, just like the sock guide. It's a few videos away, but definitely one that I am excited to make! I appreciate you!

Surprised how well the trousers break even with boots. My pants that look good with oxfords never look good with my boots. Good luck!

Thank you! Chelseas are great because they don't have anything for trousers to snag on. The basketweave fabric also drapes a bit looser and easier over them compared to more tightly-woven fabrics.

Dressing for a client. Good topic. I mean, a small book can be written about the topic. I recently saw a realtor doing a video on this amazing $10 million dollar loft in New York City. He wore a suit but no tie and 'okay' shoes. He had taken off his shoes when walking around the loft and his socks were HORRIBLE... But he's 6'2" and looks like a model. So not many are going to be looking at his feet... It's funny.. Because on my photography website which focuses on headshots, portraits and events, I've tried to make it appealing to both corporate and personal needs. But 80% of the time, professionals contact me. I guess my website reflects my professionalism and that appeals much more to professionals. I have plenty of personal photography I've done and love that too... But maybe the images read 'expensive'. Relatively speaking, I am. But that's because this is my business and not a hobby. So while you show homes in Colorado, I don't think it matters where you live dictates how to dress. It depends on solely on the clients you attract. Because the price of the homes can certainly attract very conservative types that like the outdoors just because of the scenery and not necessarily venture out in it much.... As usual, fantastic video!

Great thoughts. This is a more casual video, though I think I may discuss the intersection of Business Practice and Classic Menswear more in the future. I think it would be helpful to provide that more practical angle to these things. And indeed, I have noticed as my clientele has moved move toward out-of-state folks - as is the trend around here - my dress has been skewing toward more formal to the point where soon here I may indeed start finding myself in a Dark Charcoal suit more often than not. This is nice, though, as people often appreciate these things and they can make for nice conversation. I think business attire can telegraph security, which can play into price. There may be a dressed-down photography who is on par with your quality of work, though your image markets a sense of professionalism and attention to detail that tells a prospect that they have far lower risk working with you. That lower-risk itself is part of the value of the product and fairly warrants a higher price, which I think is great. It also attracts clients who, they themselves, are more professional, respectful, and easy to work with. Happy December Ricardo

@@DressWell.Madaras Completely. This video is an excellent primer for those starting out in business. The topic of 'dressing for clients' can be on par in complexity as the Bible. But as you said, people appreciate when you dress for them. If you don't nail a client's persona with your wardrobe, they'll appreciate you made fantastic effort. Then, it's all about personality. Be well Mr. Chris. Wishing you a ton of success for 2024!
