Can't wait for the follow up videos! We flew Aer Lingus LHR-Shannon return last year and had a great experience! even the check in staff both ways overlooked our many checked bags as the 4 of us were mid a month long Europe trip

My favorite cockpit movie of all time on youtube was on the "Just Planes" channel. They followed an Aer Lingus crew from SFO to DUB. First Officer Fiona was flying, she was so professional, as was the Captain. I've always wanted to try Aer Lingus since then! But I live in Louisiana and Aer Lingus doesn't fly anywhere near here.

Hi Dennis, for 3 Euros a bottle of water, I might have expected a slug of Irish (stronger than water) mixed in. Will look forward to your expedition into the wilds of wheel wells, AUPs and whatever's. Cheers

really looking forward to seeing the next few vlogs in this series Dennis. Engineering teams are some of the many unsung heroes of aviation. Great to see the shot of the Concorde, I was fortunate to fly her a couple of times. One of my most memorable aviation experiences

Excellent video Dennis! What a treat to get the retro Aer Lingus A320 🇮🇪 I hope to ride on it or any Aer Lingus flight someday! I am always a huge fan of any retro or special livery! 😅 Cheers mate! Cheers Cannot wait for the rest of the behind the scenes videos to come out of this trip, but until then, Wishing You Blue Skies & Tailwinds! -Caleb’s Aviation 😎

I have flown long-haul to JFK with Aer Lingus from Dublin, both on their narrow body A321-LR and their A330. Business class both trips! Seat is good (especially if you get one of the throne seats), entertainment is fine but doesn’t have a depth to it. Food is tasty and appealing, but quantities suggest price consciousness. Definitely worth checking out, Dennis!

We did Aer Lingus from Boston, US, to Shannon on a new Airbus and it was wonderful. Great service and catering. I would do it again.

I’ve flown Dublin to SFO Aer Lingus. As good as economy can get, great crew, food fine for economy (separate ice cream service a treat and fills in a day flight). Snacks were pay rather than included but not outrageous for a plane. Keen to fly them again.

I love the retro livery much better on Aer Lingus, pretty much the same for Qantas retro livery as well., awesome video here Dennis👍✈

A few years ago I got to experience a very turbulent short hop from Belfast to Manchester on an Aer Lingus turboprop. There was one particularly distressed passenger a few rows ahead of me and the crew did a great job of calming her down as we were rocking about over the Irish Sea!

I noted a similar experience on a trip from Dublin to Gran Canaria when a passenger became distressed. One of the cabin crew stayed with the person for most of the flight. They did a great job.

As a South Aussie living in Dublin, welcome and I fly Aer Lingus regularly but only on the short hops to European destination. Service is generally good but they've unfortunately had to make themselves too much like Ryanair on short haul!

Only ever flown EI BHD to MAN, and BHD to EDI - weirdly due to changes after Brexit our LHR-BHD was cancelled and moved to BA. The shorter haul flights remind me of the NZ service.

I paid for my son and his partner to fly Aer Lingus from JFK to Heathrow in 2022. Never again, firstly they lost their bag. Okay, can happen with any airline. BUT that is where the problems started. The phone line's call centre took 2 - 3 hours to answer. The call centre staff were neither well trained nor proficient in English. The standard answer to everything was "go to the website", even when told that the airline's website for lost baggage was not working. I had to get "creative" (read use expletives) and angry to get them to listen. It took hours to get the lost baggage company's details. The lost baggage company was a breeze and amazing, sorted out within 20 minutes. Then both the passengers went down with covid. Which meant another bout with the wretched call centre. Never again.
