He described what hip hop is and what it means to be hip hop perfectly. "A representation of your environment". That's why SA rappers who try to sound American don't hit when they try to make it in the states. Sound and represent where you come from. If you're from London, represent London. If you're from New York, represent New York. If you're from Soweto, represent Soweto. That's how him and Pro became the biggest artists of that time. Legend.

I cried when you shared your stuttering experience when your peers used to mock you. I experienced the same growing up, especially at school, I struggle to do oral presentations because it becomes worse when I am nervous and they used to laugh at me. it built so much anger within me and it's an unforgettable experience. I still avoid speaking in public unless I have to. I can go on and on with my experience. Big Love Mr PitchBlack, Neva let U go is still my fav song ❤

I’m a nigerian and a big fan of Pitch black Afro, i remember around 2003-2005, he was the most hip hop thing on tv “my opinion” (in Nigeria). his video was like something from busta rhyme. i was shocked when i heard he was in prison. i’m happy to learn he was falsely accused. it’s sad to see how much he loved his deceased wife. please can someone translate what he said about his wife’s passing 26:14 and about the argument with his wife before she passed? i’ll appreciate

Welcome back, the Iconic Pitchblack Afro 🔥🙌🏾 i-good time is 7 digits away - it's just ibhellas and everything is ok. Wat I like Abt mzansi is that people understand that mistakes happen and give offenders a chance to redeem themselves. No one is perfect we all makes mistakes. Thanx to such platforms for giving him a chance to tell his side of the story

I stream a lot but I seldom hit subscribe, first I watched the Punisher interview and didn't think much of it. 8 minutes into this conversation I was a subscriber, you remind me of the late great Xolani Gwala, patient, attentive posing open ended questions that allow the interviewee to express themselves while always in the drivers seat of the conversation. absolutely brilliant Bro, you have just bagged a fan 🔥🔥🔥

Its extremely sad to see our artists in this kind of condition. I remember his 1st hit single "Pitch black afro" which came out in 2004. He nade the Afro fashionable. I pray that he recovers again

KUNZIMA UKUBA INDODA is a very overlooked statement that often seems like an insinuation about it not being hard to be female but taken in context a lot of people would empathize with their brothers, fathers and sons if they truly understood what UKUBA INDODA is by the standards of more than 3,5 million people who aren't in a position to fully be in the situation enough to give as much judgement and ignorance as they do. One day as the human race we'll look inside ourselves and see one another then a realization will dawn that we're exactly one and the same just fueled by the desire of at the least being viewed as people who tried to make a difference after all is said and done. I have immense love for all human beings and honestly believe we can all do just a little better at giving justice and protection to people who can't provide it for themselves. Ultimately how we treat people is a reflection of how we feel about ourselves misdirected, your defense mechanism might fool you into think that's not the case but deep down an accountable person won't shy away from the truth consciously or subconsciously. LOVE ALL
