Hi. Sorry to unser late.When you buy the juwel fish feeder will come with the door and you need to cut the lid by yourself if you don't have on your tank.

@@CaptainAquarium thanks I use the Dremel to cut a square hole. Then I made a triangle out of wood. Because some of the pieces of food weren't going in.

You didn't show much food drops out. If too much food is dropped out it 1) can pollute tank 2) over feed fish - result fish can die

no it can't. You can limit how much food to send into the tank. Please do research before jumping into conclusions
