Great analysis. I agree with most of your evals. With that being said, you have a lot of negatives for the QBs 1-4. You have two minor negatives for Hendon Hooker who is your 5. Your knocks on Hooker were - 1) Age, 2) Flat feet in pocket. Two points on Hooker, when you're big, you stand tall and don't feel the need to wiggle when you see can see over the line and have no fear of destruction. Roethlisberger and Flacco come to my mind. Hooker's positives that you have to factor in is that he made the Tennessee program ascend, much like Roethlisberger, Flacco, and Leftwich. That can't be understated! I think he is the best prospect. Ready-made. With him you will get maturity, man strength and courage, height, and run ability. QB's don't need to be Superman, they need to be consistent and able to make a play. That is how you win when the levels of players and teams are the same like in NFL.

Young can't throw over the middle, like Wilson, Murray and other tiny QBs, he throws through the gaps when everything falls apart. You better have a smaller center and guards or he will throw outside of the numbers 75% of the time, which requires him to scramble more and he WILL take more sacks and make his O line look bad.

@SuperZekethefreak2 жыл бұрын
@@ThatFranchiseGuy No it doesn't. Young doesn't throw over the middle because he can't. He throws through the gaps, just like all midget QBs. The thing with Stroud that i need other perspectives to engage with me on is, People talk about the talent around him but i see a guy who has played with several different starting cast, From Wilson and Olave, to Jaxon-Smith, to Harrison Jr. being a completely different starting cast and player type to play with, and the question becomes when it keeps changing so much when does it start becoming about CJ Making these guys stars and not the other way around? i'm tired of seeing him docked over this issue, he has no control over. it seems unfair, i don't remember docking Mac so hard for the same issues. i don't know why stroud must bear it. it feels more like an excuse for bad opinions than a critique.

I think Russ/Brees are better examples of a successful qb despite size but I see your point

Interesting that Hooker tore his ACL with him being a 25 year old Redshirt Senior. Wonder how that will affect his draft stock?

Anthony Richardson to the lions, he would actually probably be on a better team relative to his competition in the nfl then he was in college which is rare for first round QBs

To me, the best way to judge a guy for the next level is to see how they react when the play breaks down. ANYONE can look like Marino with a clean pocket and time. A lot of these guys will be going to teams with bad o-lines.

Even though I think he needs another year I'm surprised nobody talking about DJ Uiagalelei. Yes he's been inconsistent and I think he's harshly over criticized due to Clemson standards but I think he's a better prospect then Levis and higher ceiling then Hooker but he needs the right coach and situation at the next level.

great qb class. my rank anthony richardson will levis hookers bryce young cj stroud i am a big believer in just taking the tools. the numbers of the big school qbs are always inflated. from lienart to bradford to baker, etc

Richardson might be a freak athlete, but if his processing is that bad, it's a massive gamble to think you can develop something that might not ever be there. Only a team that's loaded like the Jets or 49ers should even consider it, and the niners already took Lance last year.

@@tommydevine9993 you think he will fall to the 2nd round? that were Kaep and Hurts went

Colts could probably get Levis without having to trade up to the Bears. Stroud or Young would require picks and players but it could be worth it

How would you compare Anthony Richardson to lamar Jackson’s college tape?
