I’ve been using Truck Stop . Com. Love it how I can filter the max weight I want to Carry, the width @ length and where I’m coming from and where I want to go. They used to have a plug in GPS that tracked every mile and when I crossed state lines. This was a dream when it was time to pay fuel tax. Very easy to learn. I also use General Dispatch to haul cars as a last resort to keep from running deadhead. Often cars pay cash when you deliver to the homes of the new owners. Nice little bonus. There are so many little items to buy month to month that makes life better, you need to keep track. I really love Sirius radio as I can always find as station that keeps me engaged.and their on 24-7. But another cost. . Love the life.

You can get SiriusXM half price if you call in and cancel, they want to keep your business and will off 1/2 off your yearly bill. Unless your in for the sports and mind numbing talk radio..😂

If you're trailer was 25ft instead of 36ft, would you still be able to make the same amount of money? How critical is it to have a 30-36ft trailer? I'm trying to keep under 26,001lbs and maximize my cargo weight. Is California the only state requiring the CDL Class A for truck/trailer combinations with trailer weight greater than 10,000lbs? Can you make a video about your accidents/hazards to look out for and how that affected your insurance rate. Have you dangerous/threatening encounters at truck stops or rest areas while sleeping or otherwise?
@TowPiglet6 жыл бұрын
Simply put the longer the trailer the more you money you will make. It depends a lot on where you live too, a short trailer on the east coast will be fine but on the west it'll be a little more difficult To my understanding yes California is the only state that requires people to get a CDL with restriction 88 if their trailer has a gvwr that is over 10,000 pounds I haven't had any claims on the insurance, the one time I got a semi truck I caused $5,000 worth of damage but paid out of pocket for it. I got a speeding ticket 6 months ago and that made my insurance go up I've been approached by lot lizards a couple of times but for the most part because I'm shorter than the semi trucks I can back into the spot a little further and I think that helps in avoiding some one clipping you while that back in
