I used to know a old chap that used to do this on his vw beetle volkswagon .I used to watch him put in straight kerosine in the crank case and give 2 or 3 big revs and it smoked like mad ,but that old volsky never died.

Reading comments I see this only works if blowby is caused from sitting. What’s happening while sitting that causes blow by?? My Kubota sits during winter. Is that ok? Usually 4 months or so.

Fuel in old oil to thin will cause bloe bye. New heavy oil slows it down .

How does running diesel in your oil pan fix blowby? Is it re honing the cylinder and rings or something?

@@tractorsmarinemechanic my youngin was mowing and jobbed a limb through the radiator of my L3010. Of course he ran it till it died. Once it cooled off I fired it up and drove it back to the house. It has a little blow by now, but sill plenty of power for a '00 model. Any ideas on how to fix the blow by?

I have a iseki Tl2101F E3AG1 engine with enough blow by to rattle the breather when turned up side down on the breather pipe, could this work for my engine? over 2500 hours, was in severe need of fluid and filter change when I got it, fuel filter had sludge in it.

Hi, I am about to purchase a satoh buck Mitsubishi 3 diesel cylinder engine , when you try to open the top oil cap while the engine is running , you feel the cap is sucked and when you take of and put your hand palm you feel your palm sucked ! Is that Good news or bad news ? Please tell me . The mini tractor is from 1980 and has 8000 hours .

Just try it if your tractor didn't used for several months then blowby is coming out but when you used every other day or everyday your tractor is already blowby and need to replace piston ring or maybe also sleeve.thank you for watching

If that solved the problem, is just a matter of time till it happen again. What probably cause this is the mix between fuel from the gases and the oil. If you cleaned the old oil with diesel, there is no way you are able to completely remove all that diesel out. So the new oil will be right under great degradation from the start. If after a couple of hours you remove that oil and change it again for new one, that will probably be a good job. I'm saying this with no particular knowledge over this kind of engine. Something i'm missing, or my point is just out of purpose?

How much ATF would you put in the oil? A quart? (Hinomoto E230) I have a little more blow back than normal and tried a couple oil additive. Thought giving ATF a try. Thanks!

Hi I have the same engine and it’s a pain to start when cold, glow plugs are good and working, all filters new, diesel drained and new diesel, new 12v in line fuel pump, injectors tested and new nozzles, did numerous oil flushes in case it was sticky rings adjusted the valves and when cranking there’s lots of smoke 💨 and it’s trying its hardest to fire, any suggestions ? Is there timing on the pump or adjustment any help would be greatly appreciated thank you 🙏

I think Your injection pump.is the problem.i have many injection pump videos you can watch and learn.is it the rack or lever hard to move,maybe one of the plunger was stuck up or delivery valve.

I have heard of this many times but never tried. Isn't there a risk that the engine can get into a runaway condition where it starts burning diesel from the sump? I suspect that could happen on a worn engine. I would watch the engine at all times and be ready to block the intake with a flat surface of some sort. Whatever you do, on't use your hand!

in that case get a rag or a piece of flat wood that can block the intake. the engine is not smokey at all. similar condition to my d750 and i bought a d850 to replace it ! will surely try this before i start undoing the engine and keep the D850 as a spare or take it back!
