I have a Yamaha PSR 5700 Keyboard with a dead key - the problem is that to get at the keys on my keyboard I would have to dismantle practically the whole innards of the keyboard because, unlike most modern keyboards, the inner workings of the PSR 5700 are accessed from underneath. I would have to remove all of the circuit boards and then the keyboard circuit board before I can get to the keys. Can you do dismantle of a PSR 5700?

@@davidking5765 I haven’t tried a PSR 5700 before. I suggest you take pictures of every step while dismantling so it’ll be easier to assemble. The cleaning aspect should be fairly the same.

Hello brother, i have the same keyboard as you do. My in built audio (ones from STYLE) plays the music at a very low volume, but my keys work fine. What could be the possible issue here?

You can try cleaning off dust with spirit from the contact board first. But if you are not comfortable opening electronics, i suggest you take it to a repairer please.

My keyboard doesn't produce any sound from the keys and also the Bb key is broken. A technician almost ruined the keyboard he changed the whole key wrap that is because I am using a psr 215. Please help. I am seriously fed up
